"Hey Tails there--...wait...where's all your gear?"

    “…Gear? I didn’t have any gear before, Amy.”

"What are you talking about? You had goggles and…all sorts of gadgets on you.” this was concerning. Did Eggman snag all his gear? She looked over her friend more but it became more and more apparent that something was wrong.

"Holy cow..you look younger too! And we’re’s all your tape? Wait…something’s not right." it was true. The last few hours Amy had been wondering around this place and the longer she was here (where ever here was) the more it became clear that she wasn’t anywhere near the Village at all.

"Uh--" This was--well, weird. Amy knew he always kept his major tools back in his workshop, so the idea of her thinking he should be wearing goggles and having gadgets on hand was a strange one. His ears swiveled a little, his expression confused. "I leave all of my things in my workshop...?"

It was only when she mentioned something being not right that he even noticed her clothing was different from normal--something was definitely off. "I--think you might be right." He said lamely. "You say I look different...and you look different than usual." What was going on here...? "Alright, let's--let's just...talk? What are you even doing here, Amy? I thought you went off yesterday to go hang out with Cream and Big."

his hands are almost constantly doing something--this is a good thing, as he's usually tinkering away in his workshop. out of the workshop, though, he has a tendency to tap his fingers on any nearby surface and it's caused quite a bit of irritation in some, especially when watching tv or a movie. in order to keep from doing this, or just tapping his fingers in general, tails has picked up a variety of things to do with his hands, including knitting and playing the guitar.

when he was very young, tails was surprisingly soft-spoken and had incredibly little confidence in himself. once he met sonic and started travelling with him, the hedgehog's charisma started rubbing off and tails grew more outspoken and confident as time went on. if he's nervous, he'll tend to trail off the ends of his sentences, but that doesn't happen so often now.

the tips of his fingers and feet/paws are white, but he really only takes his gloves and shoes off when he goes to bed so it's a fact not many people know.

i'm having a tough time deciding between yukine from noragami and nagisa from free but i think i can edit them alright, just have to try and make the blue not so luminous like the last one that one looks mildly terrifying and if we know one thing for certain it's that tails is anything but scary

tails picked up swimming at a very young age initially to avoid overheating. he quickly discovered that he enjoyed being in the water, and he's happy to swim whenever he can. he tried to get sonic to join him once when they'd just become friends, but he hasn't tried to coax the hedgehog into the water since.

tails' fur is denser and softer than most of his friends', and his normal body temperature is usually incredibly high because of it. his winter coat starts growing in during late october, and is thicker than his usual coat in order to keep him warm during colder weather. it's been said that he sometimes looks like a puffball of yellow in the winter months. tails sheds almost constantly, and it's at its worst in early spring when his winter coat needs to be brushed out so he won't overheat. usually, if you need to find the fox, you can just follow the trail of shed fur straight to him (though, usually you can just find him in his workshop).
