Astrid: I'm fine, don't worry
Trisha: You're not fine, you've been stabbed
Astrid: I've been stabbed before
Trisha: You don't build up an immunity to stab wounds
Rex: We're having a baby
Echo: Congratulation—
Elinora: *slamming adoption papers on the table* It's you, sign here
Elinora: Say no to drugs
Idony: Actually it doesn't matter what you say to drugs
Idony: It's not like they can hear you

Elinora: Let's not Skywalker this into a worse situation than it already is
Anakin: Did you just use my name as a verb?
Hart: What do you three have to say for yourselves?

Gosh where to even start.
I love how effortlessly you seem to get me, how I can explain something which doesn't even entirely make sense in my own brain and you know exactly what I'm trying to say. Whether this is trying to explain a story idea or character concept or even an idea for a graphic, you always know exactly what I'm talking about. You always see the vision.
I love how passionate you are about the things you love most, *cough* Outlander and Attack on Titan *cough* and how that means I can come to you with a question about literally anything and you'll provide me with a detailed answer that still keeps me away from spoilers so I can continue enjoying the show while having my curiosity satiated.
I love how patient and good of a teacher you are. Whether it's teaching me graphics or about a fictional world I'll never be able to be a proper part of or anything else, you're always able to explain it to me in a patient manner, allowing me to ask the questions I have and explaining how best to proceed.
Speaking of patience, I love how patient you are with me getting through the shows you've wanted to share with me, even when I keep starting new ones before finishing the last one (I know it's a problem, believe me). Even when it's been years since I've finished the last season or episode, you don't bug about me finishing and allow me to get to it on my own time, even if it is a lot of time.
mutuals send me a 💌 and ill tell u something i love about you
Rex: Did Elinora just tell me she loves me for the first time?
Kix: Yup

REPUBLIC MEDICAL OFFICER ELINOR BLYTHE
When Elinora Blythe decided to become a medic, the Clone Wars were still a distant event, something which hadn't yet come to pass. By the time she graduated and was officially enlisted under her mentor, they were still months away. But when the war did break out, Elinora was right there on the front lines, one of the first people to treat the Republic's newest soldiers. It wasn't easy, that first wave of identical soldiers, but Elinora wasn't going to let her confusion effect her ability to treat her patients. Just because they were identical didn't mean they didn't deserve proper care. And as the war goes on, Elinora's determination to endure this war without losing sight of what's important will be tested again and again.

Labour of Love // written by Liz.
AO3 should have an Annotation Mode where you can click to view all of the author's commentary and thoughts about certain parts of the work. A little comment that says "I spent five hours researching vintage radio mechanics for this and didn't even end up using it" or "this is an ancient Hebrew literary technique!" would make my day
