She/Her but I’m fine with any pronouns. I’m in my 20’s and I’m from Canada. I am indigenous (Plains Cree and Métis)

I’m a retired cowboy, current noncommittal artist. I’ve been an artist for ~15 years, these days I just draw whatever I feel like, which is typically video game characters.

I don’t do commissions, too scared for that, but I’ve been known to accept requests here and there.

This fandom on here is tiny and it is just a slap in the face to this when there are artists (and artist friends) in the fandom. This is the EXACT same reason why I lost my motivation to draw.

Take a pencil and draw. Support real artists. Here’s some real art currently in the works.

I am not saying my art is amazing or grand, I am just stating that AI slop is heavily focused on aesthetics and laziness rather than actually conveying emotions and enjoying a process. Art is not intended to be perfect and soulless. AI slop is insanely ugly because it lacks a soul. I’d rather continue making shitty but human art than to „go with the times“.

Random post cos I’m thinking thoughts about my OC/sona

why is building an oc/sona so hard lol, like, my current sona Hyena (not her actual name, still working on that) is loosely based on me, only if I had made different decisions at critical points in my life that would have led me down different a road.

I’ve been working on fleshing her out a little better, but man it’s been years since I’ve done this oc/sona stuff.

So far I’ve established that she was a teenage runaway, since I often thought about and actually did run away from home a couple of times when I was younger, since my home life wasn’t great. It’s not totally realistic that a teenage girl who ran away would be safe in the world on her own, or even manage to establish herself in a meaningful way, but hey, it’s fiction. I can write it how I want.

Aside from that I’m still working things out, but I have random things like hobbies and interests, as well as mannerisms, habits, and vices, as well as grooming habits and the types of outfits she wears.

Maybe one day I’ll flesh her out enough to make a proper and comprehensive post about her.
