hey guys, just a quick PSA message to let you all know… tumblr has released a new feature called “community labels” where you can label your posts as mature so that people can voluntarily filter or blur posts that contain certain subjects… however while your first encounter with it will likely be while posting, it’s also Already affecting your settings. if you go into your dashboard settings you’ll see a new section that looks like this…

One of the best parts of nursing school is the pinning ceremony. This is like an initiation into the honorable profession of nursing. Honestly it was more important to me and my classmates then our regular graduation. Unfortunately, COVID put a stop to the entire ceremony which was very disappointing. However, I decide to order my white scrubs and pin anyway because why let the pandemic take away one more thing from me. So here I am. During the ceremony is the famous pledge for nurses similar to the Hippocratic oath for doctors. In short, I will honor this profession and the patients placed in my charge. So this is what being 35 feels like. Turning 35 during 2020 amidst this awful pandemic gives you a lot of perspective. Between nursing school, politics, a death of a friend, and countless other things, I just grateful to be alive. Well today was pretty emotional for me. Last nursing school exam and the last time I see all of my classmates together. Part of me doesn’t believe I made it. So much time and effort and we made it. Honestly I teared up just thinking about it. So proud of our class. After our exam, we received a gift bag from our professors which was so sweet. It’s gonna take some time for this all to sink in. Hey fun fact: Georgia will be having senate runoff elections in early 2021. If both democratic candidates when, the senate will be tied 50-50 with the Vice President breaking any ties!! So Week 6 of the semester is done ✅. This one was a doozy. Had to stay up late to finish paperwork and had a exam today which I passed. Clinical was pretty good as I’m feeling more and more confident. Now I need to worry about job applications while trying to balance school work.
