I think I just discovered the drug that hancock took

Today in my Addicting Drugs Pharmacology class we learned about a particular opioid-based drug that can create

An intense recreational high

High pain relief

But causes the death and drying of tissues which gives a “zombie” look

sound familiar?

Of course, since the chemical impurities and other factors literally result in tissue death it wouldn’t be the same, and more often than not results in losing limbs and the death of the individual.

But just imagine if somehow in the future they managed to manufacture a radioactive mu-receptor affecting agonist drug that doesn’t result in tissue death but rather tissue preservation. (with radiation side effects of course)

Maybe it’s just because I’m a Pharmacy major but this is just so fucking fascinating

(also i’m not putting in the name of said drug because believe me y’all don’t want to have nightmares, just imagine venomous snake bites, but like 10x more fucked up)
