Although the 18+ hour flight had been exhausting, Sebastian Smythe found himself invigorated the moment that the flight attendant informed the passengers, such as himself,  among the plane that they had safely  arrived at their destination, Newark Airport, in New Jersey. There was no denying that the French man was jet-lagged, his eyelids heavy as he reached for his carry on bag, escaping from his seat in first class, nervous, yet prepared, for one of the most exciting experiences  in his life to occur only minutes from now. He let his excitement fuel him, exiting the plane, and making his way into the airport with his carry on hanging over his shoulder. He walked briskly, knowing very well that Blaine would be there on time to pick him up. Blaine, whom he had been close to for years via long distance friendship, online. They had met in a show choir chat room, something in which they'd shared a common passion, and since then they had been practically 'inseparable.' Often scheduled  Skype 'dates' to talk to each other about their days, the good, and the bad, and now that he had been granted a student visa, he was not only able to meet Blaine, he was able to become his roommate, as he and his best friend, Sam, had an open room for rent. Luckily for Sebastian, he had been granted a student visa, to get his bachelor degree in Psychology at Dalton University in New York City, the same college that Blaine attended. There hadn't been any official talk about Sebastian joining The Warblers, Dalton's show choir that Blaine often led, but he was hopeful. Right now, they needed to focus on the things that came first. Such as the simple things, like locating each other, then driving to NYC so that Anderson could give Smythe the full tour of his new home.
As he made his way through the airport, looking for the signs that would have led him to baggage pickup, he spotted a familiar face, the familiar face, the gelled locks, and the dorky smile. It was Blaine, dressed dapper as usual, but what made it even better was the fact that it was Blaine, in the flesh, "Killer?" Sebastian called out, hoping to get the other male's attention by using a familiar nickname. Whether or not it had worked hadn't stopped Smythe from practically jogging over to where Anderson stood, and wrapped his free arm around his waist in a tight embrace, "It's so great to finally meet you!" Sebastian admitted, much more excitedly than he had originally intended.
Wow, I really am nervous. He thought to himself, stepping back to allow the smaller male his space, although he could feel his heart beating faster than before, "Wow, you're..." Sebastian hesitated, trying to form the words, but coming up blank, "Wow!" When he realized he had been staring at his friend, up and down, he felt he cheeks flush, quickly looking at the floor, and changing subject, "Thanks for making the drive to come get me. I know you said it was nearly an hour, but more convenient for the both of us if I flew in here."
Never in his life had Sebastian been the type to make a fool out of himself in front of any male. But there he was, doing it in front of the one male he wanted to impress, and had wanted to impress, since they had met years ago, "I was just looking for baggage claim when I saw you. Did you maybe want to go with me to get my things then head back to the The Big Apple?"
