   it was just as some guy approached him, axel looking up with a flat stare. wait — that was… telepathy ?? he recognized it as he’d dabbled in telepathy before — though, it was far from consistent. no, that couldn’t be the case, axel must have just been a little distracted, and had just accidentally spoken out loud. axel was the only one with these powers, right ??

   “   then, take it.   ”   he gestured to the dessert, but it seems he hadn’t even been waiting for permission as the other took it - without touching it. he supposed that made it fact, axel couldn’t deny that.   “   ah, you’re an esper, too ??   ”   he blinked with owlish eyes. he hadn’t known there were others —

   (   he also noted, that this kid seemed to like it, so he didn’t feel that regretful about ordering it anymore.   )

   “   fire ?? i didn’t do anything, kid.   ”   axel frowned, then blinked.   “   wait - you know my name ?? is that some sort of other power you have, or does my reputation precede me ??   ”   axel didn’t think he was that popular. sure, he used his abilities quite loosely, and thus had a bit of a reputation as a magician, but all the way from france to japan ?? he couldn’t help but feel prideful at that, arms crossing over the table.

   it was really a shame he didn’t want to impress people with his abilities for a career. it’d certainly be better than those con-artists pretending, but his passion lie in writing. unfortunately. he could have been really successful… but maybe…

   jak frowned to himself as he floated up in the pale space, cloudys flowing like a slow stream around him, hues of pink and orange like the sun was setting. it was certainly a stunning sight, but jak couldn’t truly appreciate it since it was entirely normal to him. 

   he lifted himself to the amorphous cloud, able to identify it as a dream with the way it swirled like a vortex. a hand reached in, pulling the fluff to the sides to peer inside. somehow, it seemed like quite the interesting dream, so jak found himself floating inside - landing on the ground with ease and looking around, his robes flowing with grace.

        it   was   a   weird   dream   saiki   found   himself   having   -      not   that   he   knew   he   was   dreaming   .      perhaps   he ‘  d   spent   too   much   time   with   yuuta   ,      but   somehow   in   his   dreamscape   ,      he ‘  d   become   cyborg   ciderman   no .  2   and   he   was   being   chased   by   no   less   than   s e v e n   nendos   -      sorry   ,      baron   colas   -      cc2 ‘  s   arch   nemesis   .
