Diary entry #1: I’m slowly getting back into writing again, it feels refreshing to have a concrete concept on the story I’m currently conducting. I’m writing a screenplay about a creature, I’m not going to give too many details but I have something jotted down. So far it’s going somewhere, it’s taking place in 90’s Utah.

Aside from that, living with my boyfriend for the past couple of months has been eye opening on an internal level. For once I feel like an adult, and I don’t hear my mother nagging and always complaining unnecessarily. It got to a point where it was insufferable and she was treating me like a child. At 24 years old. Lol, it gets to a point you know? Anyways, living with my boyfriend is beautiful, and it’s something that I’m grateful for because without him I would’ve killed myself. He’s such an inspiration to me and motivates me to get back to the thing I used to love doing: Writing.

Although it has been a struggle due to America’s current collapse, him and I are pushing through. Everything is insanely expensive, prices are not going down, and at this point everybody is wearing their true colors on their sleeves. All we can do is carry hope on our backs and keep optimistic for the future of America. Even if it feels uncomfortable to do so. 🩷
