When you are looking for something on the internet,you're not looking for one single thing anymore, most of the time you look for every thing you can find about one particular subject, going from one document from another, creating your own way into the internet, pilling information and data, that are individually created by different people and organizations around the world, who make them available to you by putting them online. You can't ignore information on the web and just pick one document, you always go from one link to another, discovering new things, enhancing your knowledge. in those researches you are the actor and you can pick what does interest you, but you can also follow links and end up somewhere completely unknown and different from what you where looking for. Information on the web are not like single books on shelves, it is always connected to something else, creating one big loop of information available to you everywhere and all the time. You can filter all of this gigantic amount of information by using simple keywords or tags for example, but can't have a single answer. Information creates bridge between each others without even knowing about them, keywords offer a different way to look at this world, showing the same information, but from a different point of view, organizing information by your specific angle.
