/landed last night at JFK airport and I've literally just got up this morning after 9 hours sleep; trying to re-wire my body clock to -5 hours from GMT. We're doing an open bus tour of New York today before popping off to the Nintendo centre. Also why do people clap when planes land?? That's never failed to baffle me.

Off to the airport this morning for my flight to New York and I'm HELLA PUMPED. Despair Ibuki. Despair Ibuki headcanons. Despair Ibuki HUNTING HEADCANONS.
Unlike most creatures, Ibuki has many methods of hunting passed down through hybridisation that allows her to dispatch prey and survive in the hostile habitat of crumbling sky scrapers.
Bite and stalk: Ibukis saliva is borderline corrosive due to lack of general hygiene; not having brushed her teeth in so long, infections can be passed easily. Taking a chunk out of a persons leg or arm, Ibuki will then slink off from the weary prey and stalk them down over a period of time; with the infection spreading through their limb, the victim gradually weakens. When they eventually succumb to injuries, Ibuki snags hers victim and devours them, crunching through the rotting appendages as not to consume vile disease. Death can take upwards of a day to claim them and often the victim is in agonising pain due to lack of immediate medication.
Swoop: With an awareness of height akin to a planes TAWS system, Ibuki is best at home in the towering columns of former superstructures; from such stomach churning elevation, unfortunate humans are subject to her predatory prowess. When a person is spotted bellow the beast, unaware or stationed on watch, Ibuki leaps from heights of up to 600ft and, with streamlined posture, aims to land on her victim. If they do not move, snapping of the neck/spine will either paralyze or kill them. Nevertheless, if the prey does move, Ibukis body will twist to land safely on all fours or grasp at the closest meshing/beam of a surrounding building. Upon killing the luckless victim, the body is dragged to a safe location for consumption.
Ambush: With feet fleeter than a foxes tread through the night, Ibuki can lie in wait of prey without them being able to see or hear her. A victim to biological inadequacy, humans can only pray to their non-existent Gods that the beast naught burry her teeth into their throats and unearth her quarry. When one drops their guard, either in insipid observation or comical absurdity, Ibuki will pounce onto them with a vigorous surge of ardor; what happens next is one of two things, neither being a copacetic ending to ones life: mauled or suffocated. The former flicks the light off before any real pain can rock your core whilst the latter is correspondent with boundless suffering. Being suffocated, crushed between the impeccable strength of her thighs and forearms, with every breath you take equalling a tightening of tendons around your chest and hip; its all a matter of whether your heart bursts or your hip caves in first.
Very rarely will you ever get ‘eaten alive’; the chances of you being fully conscious when being consumed is astronomically slender. Unless Ibuki goes out her way to devour you whilst you’re still kicking, you wont be facing the prospect of being digested alive.
I’m not even surprised anymore.

“Thats totally wasnt what you were screaming last night, Mikan-chan!!” Unapologetic as always, and abrupt as ever, Ibukis outdoor voice pierced any surrounding persons ear drums with the sharp sting of a wasp, potent in its pain. Perhaps, one day in the future, she would learn to utter privacies where they ought to be murmured: in private.

Anyway: sorry for being absent for this long; normally I would only be gone a week or so due to heavy workload but this time was different. I’ll give you some reasons for my leave if you ask but i’d rather not discuss it; not that its things you haven't heard before.
This is beside the point, I am happy to be back and writing; these past weeks have been awful for me when it comes to creativity: going to draw but only doodling, scribing random bits of world building for novels but not doing much else, etc etc. Heres hoping the following weeks will help flourish that creator in me and kick start a streak of content.
Oh, I’m also off to New York on the 5th for my birthday :)

Next time, she wouldn't take breaks this long away; no one wanted to waltz through their door just to career right into spider territory!
