Hey guys. This is going to be a life-style kind of post, maybe not super helpful and definitely not as organized, but maybe if you’re going through a tough time this will help you out.

So this whole week I’ve wanted to die. You know that crushing feeling of deadlines, indifference, anxiety, and lack of sleep, stress all out pain? That was me this week. Number one, I was sleep deprived. I slept five hours consistently all week, which was not a fun time. I can go without a lot of sleep, but five hours per day all week killed my soul, my will to live, and any dignity and honor left in my body. There were times in which I wanted to give up, go to bed, and pass out. But people who are great versus people who are good don’t do that. As much as I want to die, I don’t regret the lack of sleep and exhaustion. It all comes down to those few extra hours every day. Everyone has 24 hours in a day; it’s how you use it that matters. For me, those extra hours doing that extra math packet, that extra prep, putting in that extra effort, made all the difference. My math test went (hopefully) smoothly, my extra prep will definitely prove to be useful in the future and that extra effort really added up.

With that being said, HOLY FRICK TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. I crashed so hard at the end of the week I saw stars.  Listen I’m still SUPER behind on so much stuff and the anxiety is literally chocking me. I am behind on maths, HOSA and science and in-between it all, I am so apathetic at this point I could get hit by a bus and be okay with it. Here’s the deal, I did not expect to have become so apathetic by the end of the week. Yes, the work was worth it, but the damages afterwards are a pain to clean up. I lost a lot of my drive and motivation this week and it sucks because I have to build it back up. I guess this is a cautionary tale; I’m not absolutely dead but I am definitely not where I want to be.  Listen guys if you’re going to go all out, remember your limits. Yeah, yeah the sky is the limit but you can’t expect to reach the sky in one day, or one week. So yeah. Stay safe and don’t do drugs!!!
