Honest question, be real with me

Tomorrow a friend is supposed to come over... I kinda dont have the energy to put on my "fun-to-be-around" self, and I have this shitty injury (nothing too bad, using "injury" as a lack for a better word) that makes talking and drinking water and everything painful and annoying, so another reason to not feel like talking. But... yk, its supposed to be tomorrow, i feel like canceling last minute is pretty shitty. Overall cuz I already re-scheduled the sleepover, it was supposed to happen today but I moved it one day cuz I had to see my doctor, and well. Now idk what to do tbh

My brother just told my father and I how the day of his birthday that he had a sleepover with many of his friends, one of them tried to rape the trans guy that my brother is friends with (and misgenders him constantly, idk why they're friends but thats not the topic). Like... there was an attempt of rape. Under my roof. It was the guy my brother brought to vacation with us. I slept in the same roof and shared food and talked to a rapist. He tried raping this other guy in a living room were there were at least other 4 people. Nothing was stopping this guy, it could've been anybody... and all of that happened right below my room...

#of course the guy got quicked out of the friend group #just in case I say it #iv's diary ✶⋆.˚#I'm sorry if this is a self-absorbed thought but there is a part of me extremly scared cuz of the possibility of that happening to me #there was a very real possibility of that happening to me #the guy didnt cared that this friend was trans #it was the only afab person in that room #if it wasnt him; the next afab person was me #if the victim wasnt him; if the victim didnt went to that party; would he have tried luck with someone else?#did he tried to rape him because they were friends already and felt something towards him?#was it cuz he just wanted someone afab to get off to?#would he have went for anybody? or if the victim didnt went would everybody be safe?#the victim originally wasnt suppoused to arrive to the sleepover; he did cuz an event he was going to got cancelled that day #if he didnt went #would this rapist have gone after someone else? did it had to the victim himself?#or would have everything been fine? or would he have gotten into my room?#I'm so sorry for being self-centered; I'm spiraling #and I'm scared #I cant beging to imagine how scared he was #I wanna cry now.
