A lot happened in Pugville today! 6/27

Gracie visited for the first time....

(and I totally nailed her fashion check)

I found a lost item for the first time in a long time and it was Phil's!

I had been hoping this would trigger the request for a police station, but that didn't happen.

I also found the site of my 10th villager's home! Chrissy is moving in tomorrow! Since I already have Francine I'm pretty pumped because they have really similar designs. They'll be like sisters!

And when I was leaving my house, Pekoe dropped in rather unexpectedly!

And finally...I keep waiting for Rory to move out and he never does (I need to build a bridge where his house is), so I vented my frustrations by trapping him in a circle of holes.

So yeah, today was pretty eventful!

Mayor Maddie's house WIP

I've been working a lot on the house recently so I thought I'd post a couple of WIP pictures (aka, pics from one angle that don't show everything but sort of give you an idea of what the rooms look like). I'm still working on the bathroom, basement and my ~throne room~ (which has yet to be built) so I didn't post any pics of those.

This first one is my bedroom upstairs! I think I can still make it one size bigger (idk though? I'll need to check) but for now it has all the essentials, including a tank for my shark and a star projector that does literally nothing but looks cool.

Here's the kitchen! Somehow everything just came together nicely for the kitchen and it was the easiest to put together.

Finally, my main room! It's pretty fancy-looking. Between the fireplace and pipe organ is going to be the door to my throne room but I haven't built it yet bc I'm trying to save up some bells for a crown o:

so I'm planting some trees with some fruit that a couple of friends gave me a long time ago and I'm trying to find places for them

I highly doubt anyone's wondering but IN CASE SOMEONE IS...

I put acnl down for like 9 months and the other day I decided to pull it out again and was worried about the condition my town would be in

but I had the "keep pugville beautiful" ordinance in action when I put the game down so when I came back I had like two weeds and everything was still intact

so basically coming back was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be

of all the villagers' reactions to seeing me again after my 9 month absence, this one made me feel the worst omg

So I was talking to Francine, and it turns out she used to be a big star.

I asked why she gave it up.

Of all the lessons slipped into acnl, I think this one is one of the most important.

A week in review!

It's been a long time since my last update -- sorry sorry! To make up for it, here's a big post showing what I've been up to!

For starters, we got a new lighthouse...

I got Pekoe to start calling me 'senpai'...

Remodeled my kitchen...

Got a new tune from KK Slider...

Found out Phil is an otaku...

and have just been scurrying around getting furniture and hanging out in general! It hasn't been terribly productive, but there just wasn't anything to report!
