so i actually finished something..in other news mattress stitch on a garter selvedge is fire.

Do you love or hate speckled yarn?

The rule of the speckle is coming to an end and I’m happy.

The fact that the speckled eat stitch work like lace or cables makes it hard to design for.

knitting experiment results: binding off a hat with zero crown shaping results in ears. *meow* my intention was to produce a rectangular crown, so next time i'll try working a few decreases at the halfway points to prevent ears, and working the body of the hat longer.
