Yee Haw, just finished reading Libba Bray's Lair of Dreams, the second book in the diviners series. And, BOY. 5 stars.

I love everything paranormal and witchy, occult and thrilling. This book was all of that wrapped up into a historical setting of the 1920s which just made it even better. The main plot line of this book was absolutely terrifying and the side plot lines were highly intriguing, making the switch between characters and scenes smooth. I didn't want to skip a single page. The characters themselves have so much depth. I would highly recommend.

Make sure to read the first book first though! It's just as amazing and sets things up for the second novel in little ways that you don't notice until you're reading it!

Plant update! My BEANS are doing lovely just like they are, absolutely fabulous my children I love. We lost some purple broccoli in the war, they were a bit delicate when moved and the hot days following their relocation meant many suffered to the drought. However, them sexy ass flowers are coming in STRONG. We love to see it, slay slay slay.

Purple Broccoli coming in! Recently moved them into a grow bag and holy! Are they delicate. They've been doing pretty well though I'm sure they'll like the garden bed more once that is finished.

Cottage mix flowers been in soil only two days and already sprouting! Whereas the forget-me-nots I planted a month ago sit there stubbornly not growing. Rude, but I wont give up on 'em.

Go Bega Show find silly guys. A bunch more animals however these were top tier. A "danger show" with some highly concerning humor. Reptile encounters that made me want a snake again, and some chonky cows. Blisters rewarded with the taste of fresh lemonade, and the realization of how queer the country town youth is. Go Bega Show.
