Other than the eye candy material that was Adam Driver and Jon Hamm both on screen (sometimes AT THE SAME TIME), The Report is a WILD movie and definitely worth the watch

Having friends on tumblr is really great. I often refer to you guys in real life as “my friend from england/autralia/california/new york” and it makes people think I’m very well traveled when really I’ve just spent a lot of time on the Internet.

For the longest time, my college friends (who knew I had never lived in the states before getting to college) were so confused as to how I had friends coming to stay at my Chicago apartment who were from the suburbs of Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and/or Wisconsin.

I woke up this morning to that non-sense on twitter where people were calling Adam Driver racist for HOW WELL HE ACTED in Blackkklansman (which btw is a Spike Lee movie) and I seriously had forgotten all about it until just now where I see my dash all fired up and now IM ANGRY ALL OVER AGAIN.

Sarah MacLean just shared the stepback for her upcoming novel, Brazen and the Beast, and holy shit, if I wasn’t excited for Hattie and Whit already…this definitely would’ve done it.

I reorganized my bookshelf to accommodate for more books, and whew…every time I look at the spine of this book, I think of this stepback, and of Hattie and Whit and the UNDENIABLE chemistry of these characters and the intrigue of the world Sarah MacLean has built around them, and want to reread it again. For like the fifth time.

I was tagged by nobody but I want to do it anyway.

When did/What was your first film in which you discovered Adam? I’m pretty sure the first film I was aware of Adam in, was The Force Awakens.

Do you remember what your first impression was? What was it? I was....intrigued.

Favorite Adam Driver Movie? I think so far, it’s been a toss up between This Is Where I Leave You and Blackkklansman

Favorite Adam Driver character? Flip Zimmerman and/or Phillip Altman

Least favorite Adam Driver character? Toby Grisoni, probably. That movie was weird.

Favorite SNL skit? It’s hard to pick, there’s a few good ones. I enjoyed Undercover Boss and B.K Joe a lot. The Aladdin one got a few laughs.

Least favorite SNL skit? The medieval actor one. I laughed but I could do with not watching it again.

Favorite Adam Driver hairstyle? I’m a fan of his Clyde/GIRLS Season 6 long hair. I’m a sucker for long haired boos.

Least favorite Adam Driver movie? I have a few more to watch still but The Man Who Killed Don Quixote was such a mindfuck, I don’t even know what to make of it still.

On a scale of 1-10, how much do you like him? Approximately 34. Hah! But really, a solid 10, baby. More out of sheer appreciation for his serious acting chops.

Do you think he’s a good actor? Definitely, yes.

Do you think he’ll ever win an Oscar? I think he could. From what I can see, he’s very selective with roles he chooses to take part in. And that’s okay, but it’ll only get him so far. Do I think he has the talent required to win an Oscar? Definitely! But because the industry is, how it is, the type of movie/the producers behind it/the hype, etc. is all very tightly knit into Oscar consideration so, it’ll be a while.

What is a role or character you would want to see him play? You know what, I’m gonna say it. I want to see him in more comedic roles. I believe he’s has a little bit of humor in him, it’d be interesting to see him in that genre. Also would love to see him in musicals but I don’t think we’re ever gonna get to see that. As for actually seeing him, I’d love to catch him in a theater part some time.
