lets go again. Adding a new member to the family soon and Mya is excited, at least I believe so. She says baby frequently and touches my tummy. Sometimes gives it little kisses. I adore my baby girl.

And then the day came that Lance showed up

I used to hope for this day so that Mya would have a complete family but now I just wanted him to go away. Was it wrong of me? She was his daughter but where was he when I was changing diapers and losing sleep? Where was he when she cried as her little teeth came in and I had to rock her to sleep?

Nowhere

And now he comes around asking to see her.

I denied him and slammed the door in his face.

He asked me to move in with him.

I agreed eagerly.

I think it was time to leave my parent's house and we have been dating for several months now. I haven't seen any red flags or felt unloved or worried that he would leave.

Okay well, I was worried he would leave but it makes it harder if we live together. I already told him I want stability for Mya so if we were doing this, we were doing it right.

Life lately has been pretty amazing.

I had an incredible boyfriend and a beautiful and healthy daughter. Ben adores her just as much as everyone does. It was hard to not like Mya. She was just too damn cute.

He read to her all the time! He was like a father to her and I adored him for that.

I was nervous about their meeting but it went smoothly and now a few weeks later, I think she adores him more than me. I can't say I blame her though. He really is something.

I couldn't believe it when I was called the morning after our brief reencounter to go out on an official date. I jumped at the chance.

Was that wise? I don't know. I have a 10 month old daughter and was still pining for her father up until I met Ben.

But change was good.

I was good.

We were good.

We really were good together. We talked for hours at a cafe and then took a little walk and he kept touching me and it was giving me the good shivers. He was the complete opposite of what Lance was and something was telling me that this is something I needed, something good.
