I have been lowkey insane about invader zim for the past week, and reading your tags on my dib post make me so so happy. You actually have no idea; it's a small thing but it means so much. I am so happy you like this hideous stink worm as much as I do. And the fact that the way I drew him was so well received has me positively elated. Warm and fuzzy. etc etc, I am on the floor crying.

I had this bad boy sitting in my sketchbook for... I swear it's been over a week now. I really liked this drawing, but I have this weird notion that when I post my own personal doodles it has to be in some sort of compilation post. And idk why, it doesnt have to be that way, especially on tumblr when I'm basically here for fun. And I wanted to share this so bad after I made it (it encompasses how I view him so perfectly lmao), and I'm waiting NO MORE BABEY!!!

I have been drawing zim. And lemme tell you something, my standards have risen since I last drew him. I've been doing high intensity advanced character design calculus in my sketchbook ever since I posted the dib drawings, and I still feel like my zim needs tweaking. BUT, I did have a breakthrough in the character design lab the other day, and I'm excited to share those drawings with you, even if I change his design more after that.

I'm doing an evil mad scientist laugh right now and rubbing my hands together sinisterly, you just can't see it :)

Ah, what the hell. Here's my Zim Exploration Drawings™️ from before I had him figured out. This looks so horrible now that I've got it all splayed out but oh well 😅

First one is zim marilyn monroe-ing it, because I couldn't get the image out of my head. I kind of want to draw it again now that he looks different, ngl.

There's a lot of busts because I was following along with this ANCIENT expression template/meme. Resolution sucks when you zoom in, but It took me forever to copy-paste these, so here u go :)

I've had this in my wips for awhile, but my mom really liked the first drawing and was like "did you post that yet??" but the dialogue was supposed do go with so... I slapped some lines on the other drawings and called it good. I hope you like it! I think about dib and his crappy car all the time.

Don't read into this too much, zim is just stupid. I don't even think he knows what that means sdkjfdkhjsshkfdshjkfhjk he just thinks human food is gross. Also it was on the floor of dibs car so there's that :'D

The drawings from the poll all shaded in! I was surprised that the last one got the most votes, but then again, it had the most Zim, and you can't go wrong with that. I actually drew those from some pin up poses I found on pinterest. I just really like him as a cute "unassuming human." I really wanted to do the other zim one too, so I did! (it was the runner up so I guess I have an excuse :P)

This paper is a little transparent... You can literally. See. The billford behind them. It's ironic, because I actually see those two ships as being opposite sides of the same coin.
