#636: I tried to be vegan, but... Me, 15 years ago, back when I was still ignorant about nutrition. Ok, I didn't exactly eat just that (I don't even like Oreos) but my diet was so deficient back then, because I didn't know any better than the standard American diet. I see some people do the same, without educating themselves first. They don't even realize that they're starving their body, and then blindly hop into a trend like fasting or fruitarian, making it even worse. (Not saying that fruitarian is unhealthy, but if you fail to consume sufficient calories, or are just more of a standard American diet person, I would not advise it, but try a vegan diet that's similar to what you already eat). Don't make the mistake I did back then by depriving your body of calories. Blindly hopping into a diet trend you haven't well-researched can easily turn into an eating disorder, no matter what diet. Thankfully I know better now. Me and my boyfriend are working on a cook book with easy nutricious recipes. If you'd like to check them out, feel free to stick around. Youtube is also a good place for recipes. #615: Agenda. The “evil” vegan agenda VS the agenda of a money hungry-industry.
Many people don't realize that a lot (if not most) of food that they eat is already vegan. Vegan food just means fruit and vegetables. There are over 80,000 different edible ones, and when it comes to diet, only 2 things need to be replaced when going vegan: the dead bodies of animals, and their secretions. Really, this isn't that difficult. People think way too hard and miss such an obvious fact.
