Was she late? Her appointment, last time she saw the clock, was in an hour or so, but she isn’t so sure of herself now. It’s been so long, so long since she was requested to do something, to actually sing. Wasn’t she made for that? Why was it so long ago since she has sung for another?

Walking down the path, eyes averted up at the sky, she felt the presence of another and stopped in her tracks. Her eyes averted downwards, meeting the gaze of the child. Oh? Might as well as the time from him. Hopefully this kid understood Japanese, because hell, he looked like he was from another country in general. Foreigners are always foreigners.

”Oh, ah excuse me…Do you have the time?”

The child tore a chunk of the bun with his teeth, chewing and swallowing almost excruciatingly slowly. " 'xc'se m', ma'am? " It seems he didn't speak Japanese. Instead, he would try French with the girl ---- well, what little he knew.

Well, not bad for a first attempt at speaking French, but he probably confused her more. " Wha's y'ur n'me? " Close enough. Rocking back and forth on his heels (which, by quick glance, his feet were completely bare), the child bit into the bun again and tore another piece, chewing and swallowing.

Unable to prevent a bit of laughter, he shook his head and gently took it. Crossing out he have, he wrote ' I have ' underneath it. Writing some more, he handed it back.

' I assume you meant I have, not he have. Don't worry, I bet I can help clear that up in no time! Only problem is my accent... Aa but I'll try! So... Where shall we start? '

---- Len was one of those children who were raised in a 'morally unacceptable way' when it came to sexuality.
