âUmm miss? Do you need a handkerchief?â
âThatâs alright. As long as you know your way around the place, youâre good to go.â Robin smiled back at the little puppet, looking as reassuringly to him as she could. The girl would have to just let the boy guide her to a crossroad or someplace where travelers met. âCould you show me your favorite places? I think it wouldnât hurt to explore a bit.â
âOh sure! I hope you have some room for food, because we are going to head to the ice cream shop first!â Pinocchio beamed as he took a hold of Robinâs hand and began to scurry on the town pathways. It had been some time since he showed a stranger around town, so this made him even more excited. Poor Figaro had to hang on for his dear life on Pinocâs head as the boy ran.
âOf course I do! Do you want anything else? Iâm sure I can get you anything you want.â
That child is probably never going to be able to leave if he goes with her. Poor, poor child. Not like Mary cares, though, all she sees is a puppet, which moves, and like hell is she letting him go.
âOh boy! Do you have ice cream too? That is my ultimate favorite! We can also play some games!â
There would come a time where Pinocchio would soon realize that all of this was but a simple trap. If his good olâ conscience was still around, none of this would be happening. In fact, Jiminy would have prevented Pinocchio from engaging in such a hazardous conversation.

âWoah! You are the youngest old man I have ever seen!â
âYeah yeah, youâre not the first person to say that kid.â
âOh! I wouldnât have guessed that! You must be really popular then! Do people who wear green have a lot of friends?â

â...Gee mister, you sure like the color green.â
Finally finished my replies geeeez. Guess my Pinoc muse was screaming when I bought this special Pinocchio CD from Hollywood Studios today. If youâd like a starter and we havenât RPed yet, like this post!
The doctorâs tools lowered, as did a breath mask. Pitou hadnât been so nervous to save a human since Komugi. The ailment came out of nowhere, and a small twinge of guilt stung in her chest. She wished for this⊠could her wish have come true? Was this her fault?
Hopefully Pinocchio wasnât squeamish. the was blood, the old manâs insides sliced open to reach the heart within. Heâd need a transplant⊠how could she do that with no heart to spare? Could she simply repair it until such could be found? The dismal state of this town told her that doctors of that caliber were either rare, or did not exist.
âI will do what I can, but I canât make any promises.â
Thus, the wait began.
The boy just watched as everything took place. It was as if time had began to move slower. His wooden joints felt stiff, the antâs words were fuzzy, and the boyâs train of though was on a halt. He just stared at the doctor above as it penetrated his fatherâs chest, revealing some blood.
He wasnât used to seeing it. When it came out of his father, a small squeak escaped his lips, but he quickly covered his mouth. Pitou needed to focus on the task at hand, and the boy did not want to jeopardize this in anyway. If anything, he wanted to be there for his father.
â...Please...â
That was all he could say.Â
If he said anything else, he would break down right there.

Is that a living puppet? It is. Itâs a living puppet. And she wants the living puppet because itâs a living puppet. It doesnât look perfect, but that can be fixed easily. She honestly did not expect to ever in her life see a living puppet. Sheâs just very happy, okay. Really, very happy.
ââŠ. Can I invite you for some tea?â She smiles at the young puppet.
âOh boy! I love tea! Do you have cake and cookies to go with it?â
Bless this child and his pure innocence. He truly doesnât understand the term âdonât talk to strangersâ and it always gets him in trouble.
Robin nodded and looked around the countryside, the town around them was interesting to look at and seemed to have lots to it. âSo, what is this place called? I kinda just wandered here.â
Pinocchio scratched his head, his tongue sticking out. âIs it bad that I donât really know? I just know the name of my school and my fatherâs workshop! I uh...havenât really been paying attention to it. I just know where everything is and what stores to go to.â  An apologetic smile was given.
âDonkey ears and a tail? How?â She was talking to a live puppet and this was what confused her? She touched her ears once more, deep in thought wondering if this was true. âI would⊠like to be a real girl⊠I have never felt like I was, how did you get rid of the donkey ears?â Maybe she would be rid of them finally, even if this was impossible Emmy wanted to believe in it.
âI want to become a real girl for sure!â
âWell, there was this place called Pleasure Island, where boys went to have fun and be bad! But then, they ended up turning into donkeys. Luckily Jiminy found me just in time, before I wouldnât be here.â He lifted up one of his hands and poked the girl.Â
âYou can definitely become a real girl! I donât know what being a real boy is like, but I dream about it a lot! I canât feel physical pain, but is it weird I want to? All the kids get scratches and I just canât help but to be a little jealous...â
She honestly wasnât expecting a reaction like that.Â
This worried her greatly. If she doesnât go soonâ..can she trust him? Well, of course in a sense? He was really sweet, practically just an innocent kid. Despite being made of wood and such. Again, she would feel guilty if he ended up getting hurtâin some way.
But the look in his eyes..he sure is determined to go with. As she pondered for a moment longer, Sayaka lets out a small, defeated sigh. âAlright but just be careful, okay? Where weâre going..itâll be very dangerous. So stay close to me, okay? And if we find a monster, you gotta hide. Promise me that?â She knelt down one last time to look at him in the eye. She wanted to make her point in a way, so what better way to do so by being somewhat at eye level. âNow letâs get going then. How about you hop on my back? Could be a long trip from here.â
The frown that was on his face before immediately turned into a great big grin.
He had feared she would tell him no and to stay behind. Honestly, that was what happened to him in a lot of situations. His father would tell him to stay in the house when he went out and whenever he went out on an errand, the older man would have a neighbor chaperone him from a distance.
This was his time to be something; he had stepped up a while back and it was time to dust off his shoes and take on another challenge again. His fatherâs life depended on it! âOh! If you donât mind.â He readied himself and with a small hop, he held onto the girlâs shoulders. His wooden joints clicked as he steadied himself, trying to make both him and the girl comfortable for the journey ahead.
âAlright, I think I am good!â
{These expressions just make me die inside omg}
â± -âBlue fairy? Hm, I have to admit, thatâs where youâve officially lost me,â He replied, studying the boy closer still. âIâm not familiar with such a thing. Is she a hunter perhaps? A manipulator?â
â...A hunter?â Pinocchio looked up to the sky and put a finger on his chin. Werenât hunters the people who went into the forest and shot deer and bears? His father did that with wild birds during the seasons. The blue fairy didnât seem like that type of woman. âI donât think so...?â
Machi completely ignored his sudden comment.
âAnd you need to watch where youâre goi-â she narrowed her eyes. He wasnât soft or fleshy. A Nen-doll, perhaps? âWhat are you?â She demanded.
âIâm sorry miss, it wonât happen again! Promise!â the wooden boy straightened up his bow before smiling. âI am a puppet! My name is Pinocchio!â
Kurapika blinked at watched the wooden child as he began talking a mile a minute. Perhaps being blunt and truthful with this kid wasnât the best option after all. He might as well answer all his questions otherwise he might continue to push for the answers.
âTheyâre just people who have broken the law multiple times and the majority of them have normal guns or knives and no they usually do not know karate. Nor do I know karate for the matter, but I have met a few people who are masters in that art and it is true that they have very powerful punches. I canât teach you what I donât know.âÂ
âOh oh! You must be a super hero then if you donât know karate but can still beat some bad guys! Tell me, what are your powers? I want to have super strength! The kids at school call me a âweaklingâ all the time. They mean well though! Just looking out for me.â They totally bullied him.
âI would also want to fight in a cool suit or something, like a super hero outfit with a cape! Wait...arenât capes bad...? Never mind about the cape, I will just wear my PJs! Those are my favorite and they are very comfortable and-â Pinocchio found himself going on a tangent. When it came to imagination, he couldnât keep his mouth closed.
dont you just hate it when a singing cricket lets your puppet child be taken away by a furry and sold to a man who turns him into a donkey?? also you are eaten by a whale
