long ao au rant ahead:
you know the underfell au from undertale where everything and everyone is hostile and it’s basically hard mode? yeah well that but arcane odyssey.
i imagine it would follow the same story and concepts, but the order of aesir would be much more oppressive and spread across, making it much more of a challenge and problem to deal with. it’d raise the difficulty considerably and would just overall make it feel more complex.
we’d still be silas (the main mc / or our own player) and have the main roster, but the spare option would be disabled or just not available entirely. you can’t show mercy anymore. elius doesn’t give you the opportunity to pick a more peaceful path anymore
basically same thing, everyone is twice as aggressive and doesn’t play around anymore. even those who are already pretty “mean”, i imagine it’d just double.
specifically i think you’d see more of the syndicate / the forsaken rather than the navy. more ships, more npcs, more mentions of them. the navy still exists of course but it’s more limited.
edward kenton would defo not be an exiled captain but perhaps a sponsor (closest to captain rank) for the syndicate. same everything same “loyalty” but he’s much more reluctant and bitter. same with enizor, he’d probably research something more forbidden (more than he already does).
