ryland’s students do the “making teachers sign their old photos” and it’s a picture of him in college at a frat party with his shirt off, alcohol dripping down his chest while posing for the camera as people cheer around him after he just finished doing a keg stand
tying ryland grace’s wrists to the headboard using his tie before riding him and stopping just before he cums. punishing him every time he bucks his hips up into you by edging him until he cries

question 4: do they have any core memories, regardless of age?
previous | next
ryland grace — a core memory he has, that he remembers in pieces after waking up on the hail mary, was back when he was nine. back when his father was still alive (when ryland didn't know what it felt like to pull the trigger of a gun) and life’s hardships hadn’t truly begun (besides their father’s abuse).
it was a hot summer afternoon, sweat dripping down his back as he raced with colt to the ice-cream truck, starting off with a fast walk before it turned into a full run, their older brother, court, walking behind them. he remembers ordering mint-chocolate chip and colt scrunching his face with disgust before telling him how gross it was that he liked toothpaste flavored ice-cream and then proceeded to order the triple fudge in a cone (which ryland thought was disgusting. who needs that much chocolate?) he remembers the smile on court’s face slightly faltering when the ice-cream guy asked what he wanted and told him that was it before paying for their dessert.
ryland remembers sitting under the shade of big oak tree at the park next to their neighborhood as he and colt talked and licked at their ice-cream while court chimed in his two cents here and there, a pleasant smile on his face as he teased the twins. ryland had shoved the other half of his ice cream in his hands, running off to play with colt before court could try and give it back (he knew his older brother didn’t have enough money to get himself any).
he remembers the sound of laughter and shrieking as the twins dragged court to play tag with them in the sprinklers, the water cooling his skin as the day turned from noon to evening. by the end of it, the three of them lied beside each other on the prickly grass, ryland and colt like starfish and court with his hands on his stomach, heavy breathing and soaked to their underwear as the sun cooked them. he remembers how bad his sunburn was the next day and how bad his skin peeled for the next week, his skin apparently more sensitive then colt laughed and court tried not to laugh at his state of horror when it did start to peel (court did help him apply lotion to his skin afterwards).
if he could go back in time, ryland grace wouldn’t change one thing about that day.
he misses his brothers.
simon — the day he was thrown in jail. his memories are a little fuzzy as time has passed, but he can still remember the sound of the bombs going off at filament station. he remembers his hesitation and how he froze, and he gets angry thinking about it. he was a soldier, a soldier of eden, and a soldier of eden did not freeze— no, they were quick on their feet and used their bodies as weapons for the greater good. instead, simon the butcher stayed frozen in place as bombs went off and people died, their screams echoing throughout the station.
he can still sometimes feel a hand on the back of his head pushing his face into hard, heated metal, arms uncomfortably pulled behind his back as multiple C.O.I members held him down and cuffed him. he remembers the smell of sulfur and fire and the feeling of guilt, betrayal, and resentment boil thickly in the pit of his stomach. the time between his arrest and being thrown in jail is fuzzy, but simon can still remember being thrown in, body hitting the wall with force and the taste of blood in his tongue. he remembers the clinking of chains as they bound him to the wall, metal digging into the flesh of his wrists.
he earned a new name after that— heard it as the C.O.I came back to him to interrogate him and torture information out of him, or just for the hell of it.
the convict.
simon didn’t mean to kill them. he didn’t, he didn’t, he didn’t. he didn’t even know what happened at filament station was going to happen. still, the burden of the tragedy was tied to him.
and so for years he stayed chained to a wall, as his anger and guilt and fear and sadness consumed him and left him empty. did he deserve all those years? locked in a jail cell until they ultimately decided to kill him? maybe he does, he has so much blood on his hands and no amount of washing them will wash away his sins. but the C.O.I had also killed his own, did they not?
simon remembers the feeling of not wanting to die. and for years, that feeling was the only thing keeping him alive.
notes: this was a long one lol, this is what happens when i put on ethel cain and write. anyways, i read a headcannon from @luxhesperus from this post about how instead of court killing their father, ryland is the one who pulls the trigger. wow. so freaking good.
day four of writing a character study for ryland grace and simon in a bloodymary x reader ship.
questions: @deathlywounded. from this post. dividers: @saradika-graphics. from this post.
i headcannon that ryland only likes the stem of the broccoli and colt only likes the tree of the broccoli, so they will eat what they like and just give the other part to their twin
