    Lily jested with light laughter, an elbow jabbing Paiva-Cadd in     his side as she fell back a step or two to give him the space he     needed to lead the way. He did say he knew where this Deckard     fellow lived after all and it was best that they get there right away.

[Paiva-Cadd shrugged as they continued to walk.]

"It's just habit at this point. When I first met him, I was in a bad mood, so I just called him that and it stuck. Bee doesn't like it, but that's just cause she likes him."

[It wasn't a secret-and it was pretty obvious Deckard liked her back. At Lily's comment, he smirked.]

"Don't worry-the most I'd ever be able to call you is Bubblegum or  something else unoriginal. And that's not my style."

    Shrugging her shoulders, Lily sheepishly grinned at the     entertained Puppycat. She was never one to be interested     in reality shows like the one he was so highly engrossed     in but then again, she hadn’t ever sat in front of one for     long. She was willing to give it a try, especially if it could     manage the attention of Puppycat. 

    She took a seat on the couch with the cup of finished water     still in her hand, the springs reclining under her weight     and shifting every time she did.

 ❝ … Soooooo, Is this all you watch? ❞

"Nah-though if I had to pick,  this would definitely be the only thing I could watch."

[He moved slightly so she could sit with  him on the couch, but kept his attention trained on the screen. They'd forgotten to  take off the tomatoes on Pretty Patrick's  burger, and he was currently complaining in the most soft-spoken way.]

"Bee first showed it to me-it's her favorite show, too, and it grew on me."

She…. wasn’t used to this— calm of an environment. Leaning against the sofa, watching television with a cute kitty cat….. Wait. Why was she here again. “Oh, um….” That’s right! Dodo’s whereabouts, but should she ask? “Um…. uh…. ex—… cuse me?”

[PuppyCat turned his attention on the girl and sighed, pausing the TV.]

"Yes, what?"

              [ The phrasing may have thrown the poor canine off.  It did not sound like he was answering her question — it sounded like an introduction.  At the same time, however, it sounded like he had just told her what he was…  Which would be answering her question.  Lady was unsure what to make of it. ]

           ”Pleasure to meet you.  I am Lady.”

                        [ Best to just be polite, really. ]

[PuppyCat nodded, returning the sentiment. It was actually pretty nice to talk to some other creature at the same height he was-he was getting very tired of being looked down on.]

"It's nice to meet you as well, Lady."
