Vampires when they sip on your blood and catch extra strength Tylenol, at least two psychiatric meds, two cups of coffee, weed, and microplastics
I have a type
johnnyflynniverse Mr Knightley in Emma (2020)
#the funniest thing about mr knightley is that arguably nothing in his life goes seriously wrong#compared to wentworth or darcy or brandon or even edward ferrars#he’s got no serious insurmountable painful event or circumstance#he’s just unfortunately in love with his neighbour#so no dramatic event or reversal of fortune#he’s just trundling along#and yet every adaptation has him just Opressed By Emotions he’s trying to deny having#george knightley: strengths include steadiness of character responsible land management and being socially considerate but also#george knightley: in love and mad about it

With a large chin, a prominent slightly arched nose and delicate lips, the “face” of England’s King Richard III was unveiled on Tuesday, a day after researchers confirmed his remains had finally been found after 500 years.
A team of university archaeologists and scientists announced on Monday that a skeleton discovered last September underneath a council parking lot in Leicester was indeed that of Richard, the last English king to die in battle, in 1485.
Devotees of Richard, who have long campaigned to restore his reputation, proudly revealed a 3D reconstruction of the long-lost monarch’s head on Tuesday, introducing him to reporters as “His Grace Richard Plantagenet, King of England and France, Lord of Ireland”.

i am so happy we all thought the same thing
The last time I played Puck, the director was a huge freak about not letting us wear shoes on stage because it would "ruin the look", but we all kept eating shit, and instead of just letting us wear skintone dance shoes or something with grip, motherfucker poured Pepsi on the floor so it'd be sticky and we had to schlorp around. I fucking hate you, David.
Why couldn't this have been a one time I dreamt
Coking the stage (mopping it with diluted soda so it's a little sticky) is a legitimate low-budget tactic for slick floors, but he just poured so much Pepsi on the floors that for about a whole week, it was audible.
Maybe the course of true love would run a little fucking smoother if we didn't have to ford your Pepsi river, DAVID.
I would just quit. Fuck people like that. It's easy to walk away
No it's not. Didn't you read the post? There was dried Pepsi everywhere.
I love that so many pseudo-intellectual, self-professed experts will be the first to assert that the most extensively documented person of all time did not even exist when it’s literally not even considered debatable in academic circles
#yes this is about Jesus#we literally have more record of him on this earth than we do Julius Caesar
You still believe in Julius Caeser?
Sure cause theres nothing claiming Julius Caeser walked on water, turned water into wine, rose people from the dead, controlled the weather, healed away blindness, ect. Makes the burden of proof a little more substancial when the claims are THAT extreme.
There is material claiming that Alexander the Great was secretly the son of a Pharaoh magically transformed to appear like Zeus, built a wall to keep a race of giant barbarians from conquering the earth, and had a lusty affair with the Queen of the Amazons, but we don’t question his existence. The first verifiable extant source for Jesus Christ are the letters of Paul, the oldest surviving manuscript of which is dated to the late 2nd Century but whose content is universally accepted to have originally been written in the 50s-60s of the 1st Century AD. That is to say, less than thirty years after Jesus’s death. What is considered to be the most reliable extant source for Alexander the Great is the Anabasis of Alexander, the oldest surviving manuscript of which was written about 1200 AD but whose contents is accepted to have been written around the middle of the 2nd Century AD. That is to say, over four and a half centuries after Alexander’s death. I’m not asking you to believe that Jesus turned water into wine, brought people back from the dead, controlled the weather, or made the blind see. I am saying, however, if you think Jesus was not a real, historical person, you’re holding a glaring double standard.
