Hearing that name—Takamiya—was enough to catch Ryo’s attention, but not necessarily in reference to herself. She slowly stood up straight, her arms wrapping themselves around her torso as golden orbs scouted the nearby areas for a moment, hoping to catch a slight glimpse of her older cousin; the one who seemed to be straight out ignoring her since a certain incident (even though she couldn’t blame him). Of course, however, Kaito was nowhere to be found, and as much as it shocked her, the male’s inquiry was actually directed towards where she was standing.
Although it took her a few minutes to comprehend the situation, the small vampire hunter turned in the direction of the voice, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she met the eyes of those that looked oddly familiar. But wait… Had she seen him before? It wasn’t just the eyes, but the entire face, it rang a bell—a loud and obnoxious bell.
And then she realised. He had been one, of plenty might I add, that she’d embarrassingly bumped into—or who had bumped into her. And just the thought of such a memory, it caused her cheeks to flush, her frown softening slightly as she tilted her face to the side. Why was he here? She didn’t know, but it was best for her to answer his question, the quicker she did, the quicker he’d disappear.
“I… I’m waiting for someone…” She muttered the quiet response, adverting her gaze back away from his own.
Daisuke waited for the small hunter to acknowledge him. It seemed that her mind was else where but it wasn't like he was going to ask what was bothering her. That wasn't his job and it certainly wasn't any of his business. Why did he even care what was bothering her? She probably wouldn't care if something was bothering him. Daisuke mentally cursed himself for being so inconsiderate. What a selfish brat he was. Daisuke, just because people don't give you attention doesn't mean you be a douche to others. The pure-blood's red eyes scanned the others face.
Ah, now something had clicked. By the flush taking over her cheeks he figured that she was reminding their first chance meeting. It hadn't been much but it definitely put them both on the others radar. Daisuke was the type of person to stay away from people, especially hunters so it wasn't that much of a shock that the two hadn't met again since that incident.
Waiting on someone? Oh shit. That was not what Daisuke wanted to hear. "Uh, me too." He answered. Why couldn't they have just given him a partner that wasn't related to the Takamiya's or even close to the Kiryu's? Damnit, somehow he knew something was going to happen that would cause a fall out from both parties. First rule of being a pure blood hunter; Don't piss off quick tempered hunters. "I..think we're waiting on each other. You're here waiting on your new partner, correct?"
