I have no desire for anything other than to repair what is between me and Allah ﷻ
Leaving this here for myself to remember that Allah is always here with you. I want you to remember these days and I want you to remember what He has done for you. How He has been so kind to you. I want you to remember the peace and happiness. Whatever is happening right now, you always have Allah with you, and if you have Him then you have all that you need. I promise no matter what, you will always be okay.
Tawakul is such a beautiful concept. Everything around you could literally collapse but if you trust that Allah will protect you, no harm can come to you. You take by the means and have faith. You trust in His planning, better than your own. You trust that He will guide you towards what is best, again and again. What is doubt? What is pain? What is fear? Allah سبحانه و تعالى is near.
You haven’t lost anything until you’ve lost your deen
A lot of us struggle of letting go. We try to move on but if feels like this endless circle which just keeps coming back to the same hurt, the same rejection and the same pain.
But do you know what the essence of Tawakkul is? It's learning to let go and trusting that Allāh has something much better in store for you. This is trusting Allāh blindly, even when things don't look anywhere close to easy. It's believing that better days/things are coming even when it seems like you're falling into this never ending black hole right now. It's learning to see that moving on isn't that hard, after all you have Allāh, who is capable of fixing your heart and knowing that He has the power to grant you something that you truly deserve 💕
talk about yemen. talk about the 63,000 yemeni children that died of preventable causes. talk about how the UN dubbed it “ the world’s largest humanitarian crisis ”. talk about US’ major role in backing Saudi Arabia’s bombing. talk! talk! talk! this needs to get the deserved and much needed attention.
I really wish you all stay on the deen and get closer to Allah and his religion with each day passing
This is Shukri Abdi....
She was a 12 year old refugee and had lived in the UK for only 2 years.
She was reportedly bullied in school and on the 27th of June 2019, she was lured by some classmates to a nearby river…her drowned body would be later found the same night….fully clothed ….and she did not know how to swim.
4 underaged witnesses, who were there at the time of her death are known, of which 2 claim that the other 2 were responsible for the reason Shukri was in the water…all 4 witnessed her last breaths (1 allegedly accused of laughing while she gasped for air).
The school is covering up the bullying reports (it got so bad that her mother was in the process of changing her school) and hours after her death, the manchester police declared the death accidental/not suspicious.
Nobody has been charged and the police is not co-operating with the family
she was 12, Black, a refugee and a girl.
Positive Thinking Tips
1. Be grateful for what you have. Too often we think about what we don’t have, or how we’ve been hurt, or what’s gone wrong. But there are even more things to be thankful for.
2. Believe you have what it takes to succeed. Don’t give up on yourself when you do something stupid or you meet some obstacle that interrupts your plans. You’re still in control of your destiny.
3. Write your negative thoughts down on a piece of paper then tear it into pieces or burn the list. Now, write a long list of personal affirmations and decide to read through this several times a day.
4. Recognise and avoid all the negative people who’ll wear you down or knock you off your path. Often whiners and complainers are never going to change – so minimize the time you spend with them.
5. Identify and hang out with positive people who see life as a gift to be treasured and enjoyed. These are the people who see the good in others, and offer encouragement to everyone they meet.

PSA: Pre-PA student looking to shadow
Hello! I’m a biology major in San Diego State University looking to shadow a Physician Asistsant this upcoming sesemster. Any help/recommendation/advice would greatly make my journey easier.
Ramadan is not a temporary increase of religious practice, it is a glimpse of what you are capable of doing everyday.
Don’t give up on praying. Don’t stop asking. He’s listening. He’s heard you. Don’t give up so easily. He knows what you don’t. So keep praying. And keep asking. If it’s good, it will come. He’s listening.
this ramadan, instead of praising your mothers and sisters for powering through their fast and still managing to prepare iftar for you, get up and help them prepare the food and clear the table and wash the dishes. don’t leave the tasks to the women in your household as you laze around all day.
