140527 [NEWS] KARA Project has started... 7 girls 7 colors, BabyKara's charms?
The 7 girls of BabyKara with dreams of being stars like current KARA members Goo Hara, Han Seungyeon and Park Gyuri are getting a lot of interested audience.
KARA’s agency, DSP Media has reached their hands to MBC Music for an audition program called ‘KARA Project’ in which the 3 members of KARA will be screening BabyKara for 2 new members to join the group. Since May 14th, DSP has unveiled the members of BabyKara one by one.
First candidate is Sojin who has been training with DSP the longest among the girls of BabyKara. She shows strength in singing and dancing. She has a youthful and healthy appearance but can turn her appeal 180 degrees to being sexy and mature.
Second candidate unveiled is Siyoon who was part of Puretty – a group project debuted in Japan with the release of ‘Cheki☆Love’. She has big attractive eyes and has landed CF deals before debut. She is youthful and has an innocent-like appearance.
Third to be revealed is Young Ji who has a childlike appearance but certainly charismatic. The agency rep says “She has superb singing and dancing skills and the balanced appreance-wise member.
Fourth candidate is Chaekyung who has an urban and stylish appearance. She and Siyoon scored a game CF deal before debut.
The fifth candidate is Somin who showed both innonence and maturity in her teaser particularly her superb showcase of KARA’s Damaged Lady concept.
Sixth candidate is Chaewon who has a cute and refreshing image with a good twist of superb singing skills.
The last candidate is Yooji who was a contestant in SBS Kpopstar in 2012. She was noted as a dancing prodigy and became a member of the girl group YouU during the contest proper and finished as Top8 for the whole season.
These 7 girls who have been training with DSP Media have joined KARA Project where they’ll be trained and given variety of missions by KARA members themselves.
KARA Project is open for public voting. SNS channels 커넥미 is 40% (poll-voting and broadcast votes) and Line is 30% (Global voting), and 30% of scores by experts in which KARA will be giving.
Meanwhile, 'KARA Project – The Beginning' will be broadcasted later at 6pm at MBC Music and will be followed by a weekly broadcast every Tuesday 6pm until July 1 which sums 6 episodes.
