My Magnum opus

"Good morning, boss~ ☼” That felt kind of weird coming out of her mouth, since Lanette hadn’t worked under Jaeeun before, only knowing him as a friend. Nonetheless, she was happy to be employed at a stable job again. “Thank you so much again for this opportunity, I hope it won’t be too ‘odd’ considering that you and Roy are friends...” She tapped her long acrylic nails on her mug; even mentioning Roy’s name was ‘touchy’ for her, considering how messy her firing was at ‘Ele’. “But I promise, you will not regret this decision!” She smiled determinedly; even though Lanette was ‘girly’ and couldn’t keep her finances together, she considered herself a hard worker at anything she did, and was considering this position to be a chance for her to get back on her feet. “So um, what are my tasks for today...?” She was embarrassed to ask that, but quite frankly she wasn’t sure what her job at Circle Enix entailed. Based on her interview with Jaeeun, she assumed it would be something more clerical or administrative, since she did not know a thing about coding or game design, but as of now it was up in the air.
