Every day I eat my favorite evening snack, a grapefruit, on a comfy chair next to my back sliding door window and a wooden stationary cabinet, a colony of ants has decided to join me in my habit.
I watch them, every day, as they wander, one by one, across the cabinet’s scratched wooden surface, I pause every few minutes to squash whatever unlucky ant I spied.
This was all fun and games, eventually I would find their entrance and put a stop to them, but alas, they struck first. While I was mindlessly peering over the cabinet, they created another route, a sneak attack directly up my left leg, over the chair’s arm, and into my delicious grapefruit.
This is the last straw. I vow to destroy them.
