plan your writing in blocks. A&Z, then add B, then add C, and continue until you’ve planned out to Z

then write A. it’s okay if it’s bad, what matters is that it exists. you can reread and improve later

don’t be afraid to reference the source material whenever possible and study it so you know what to add. study character dialogue; retype it yourself so you imagine how it feels to write them
