An old, time-worn golden shield - on its surface, a single word is engraved: “Narandia.” It seems to have survived from an age that preceded the Great Scouring.
A bundle of old, rust-eaten keys - unmistakably Lycaean in origin. The doors they were once meant to lock have long since vanished.
Your Sevatar art made my jaw drop. You make him so PRETTY! AHHHHH.
That is all, please have the absolute best day ever, and may both sides of your pillow forever be cool.
Awwe thank you so much!! I am a little insecure about how different Sevatar looks from official art and figures/minis when I draw him, so it’s always relieving to see that people like my interpretation of him ☺️
I’d love to do a comic with him once I figure him out just a bit more! Just need to figure out a nice style. Here’s an abandoned study of him
I adore Sevatar but my favorite Sev moments are for sure anytime he's suddenly hyper-aware he's weird even by Astartes standards.
Like when he asks a Terran-born Night Lord what he felt watching Nostramo explode as someone who doesn't have sentimental attachment to the planet, admitting that he hadn't even thought to ask until then, and the other Astartes is like "...Its been years and that only occurred to you just now?"
And Sevs immediately thinking "shit I just bombed that social interaction, didn't I"
He's constantly having to guess what a normal human/transhuman response would be and then only getting it sort of correct sometimes. Everybody who meets him recoils when he tries to smile because it's so clearly a guy doing an approximation of a smile, like an alien who only learned about emoting a few days prior.
He's the most autistic Night Lord, this is why he's Curze's favorite.
It's been a while since I drew our Handsome friend Crow Crow over here— I mean Bird Bird— I mean Scientific Crow Name I mean Corvus Corax, Primarch of The Raven Guard, Master of Civil Revolution, Lord of Sneaky Shadows and Feathered Personal Attacks against Lorgar, but I do love drawing this handsome face, The Superior Goth Coded Pale Black Eyed boy™
Oh no... Now look at what You've done! WHY are YOU so Mean?!? He has a philosophy degree and stuff, more respect! *Tsc tsc tsc
This is a late b-day for an amazing Corvus fan friend of mine~
These are 2625x3500 digital illustrations, done 100% on Ibis Paint X, and here is The step by step of how I (DON'T DO IT LIKE ME, I AM WEIRD, DO IT LIKE YOURSELF) to render skin to make It look wet/oiled up, ✨Contrast✨, The highlights get Very White and reflective, and we love that for him~
Your Konrad is so full of energy and life (ironically so maybe) I absolutely adore the way you draw him, you capture his spirit so well : )
Thank youuu!!!
I must say i do think i mischaracterise him, i often draw him a lot happier than he actualy is, or rather having a great time causing suffering, when realy he tends to be a bit more grim and cruel about it, i fear i may be playing up the Crazy(trademark) aspect of him a bit too much,
Anyhow, here's him happily skinning a man, cropped for gore, full under cut

Nights Whisper is explicitly mentioned to be a weapon once belonging to Konrad, and there’s no mention of it ever being unwieldy or otherwise ‘too big’ in Sevs hands.
He leads the Atramentar who wear terminator armour which is massive, and likely requires a certain amount of size to be worn comfortably
Reasons Sev might be a short king:
He’s stated in canon as preferring his standard armour over his terminator armour, implying it is perhaps uncomfortable or otherwise poorly suited to him
These last three are part of my Agenda: back in Molech when he stole from the chaos gods, i like to think that getting the attention of the prince of pleasure itself demanded more than a simple trick, a preliminary offering, so to speak. (They absolutely wrecked him)
"Perhaps that was what angered Corax: that he should have known better. Nathian’s betrayal was the primarch’s pride staring back at him, an embodiment of Corax’s refusal to back down, so often a boon but on occasion a terrible vice."
The ending of 'Ravenlord' is important for many reasons, but among other things, I find the question of loyalty and leadership responsibility particularly interesting.
While Corax tends to take on an enormous amount of personal responsibility, even for things beyond his control (though this is likely not a positive trait but another manifestation of his ego), at the same time, when his pride drives him to act impulsively or irrationally, he fails to realize how this may be perceived by his legionaries – especially those whom he has led to genuinely believe in the cause.
Part of this may be because, for Corax, loyalty to the Emperor is simply a given, and he seeks no reward or recognition for it, so he expects the same from his subordinates, and in my view, he does not sufficiently value their individual devotion. Even though Corax knew there would be traitors within the legion, until this moment he had never connected this to the consequences of his own mistakes.
Here, Nathian is important not so much in himself, but precisely as an example and manifestation of Corax’s pride, stubbornness, and disregard. No matter how wrong Nathian himself may be, his grievances are partly valid. Loyalty cuts both ways; it is not a given, and one must live up to it.
We have several examples of those who remained loyal no matter what. But most of these people are Corax’s family and friends – to them, he is much more than just a war leader. This is precisely why their tolerance for his mistakes is incomparably higher. After Nathian’s desperate, shocking suicide, Arendi's loyalty serves as a form of damage control, and the ending of the novella is one of the few episodes where we finally see Corax showing open gratitide for such loyalty.
