My Mesh Up Sweater by Wool and the Gang, knitted on beautiful 25mm wooden needles. Only one sleeve to go!
At the weekend I went to my second Wool and the Gang knitting party. A great way to start new projects and to meet people. Here is my party pillow in progress, knitted in moss stitch. The party was held at Second Home London. I want to live there!!
Knitting a Mesh Up Sweater by Wool and the Gang, using beautifully made 25mm needles.
It's Worldwide Knit in Public Day!
Street art in Brockley, South East London. Part of Brockley Street Art Festival.
My finished Wool and the Gang Tender Loving Clutch bag. A complicated stitch to knit, but worth it! I added a finger-knitted strap and a hand-made raku-fired button.
Just finished knitting this ariel top by Wool and the Gang. Love it!
Today I went to a Wool and the Gang knitting party at the Royal Festival Hall, London. Here is the Tender Loving Clutch bag in progress. There were three levels of stitch to choose from. I chose the diagonal stitch, requiring lots of concentration!
It's a bank holiday weekend - I've been walking, visiting art galleries, knitting and socialising. I've also been relaxing with this colouring book of Paris. I'm really enjoying the detailed pictures.
I've finished the front of my Ariel top by Wool and the Gang, knitted in fishnet stitch using Mixtape yarn.
A series of abstracts in acrylic and interference medium.
I have a lot of handmade paper which I made at a workshop some years ago, so I'm combining it with other papers and making collages in a sketchbook.
