I love that Idol Factory is letting their girls be just as horny as their boys. So often—especially in Thai media—women are stripped of any kind of sexual desire as if the act of wanting makes them lesser. Mon and Sam have been allowed to express their love through sex without any sense of shame. And honestly? That’s pretty fucking revolutionary.
And not only that, but the NC scenes themselves aren’t catering to the male gaze AT ALL. There are no gratuitous shots of boobs or butts. No fake moans. They know their audience and they know what we find attractive. I’m just so happy to see lesbians on my screen who haven’t been distilled down into something palatable for straight audiences.
imagine having jodie comer and sandra oh as your two leads and then never giving them screentime together.
Come join our wlw server if you are a female aligned person who is attracted to girls!! Only requirement is loving girls.

Me a couple of years ago: better not look at gay stuff on ig/other social media or my phone will think I’m a lesbian and it will start suggesting gay stuff to me and I’m gonna have to explain that to my friends
Me now: better look at gay stuff also on ig even though I just spent an hour on tumblr looking at other gay stuff because otherwise my phone will forget I’m gay and start suggesting straight stuff to me and I just really don’t want to see any of that
I believe in a God who understands why people jump from bridges. I know that kind of sadness. That motion, terrifying stillness. God knows it too, has to know it too.
— Topaz Winters, from “god is—” poems for the sound of the sky before thunder
“Someone who suffers from the impostor syndrome is unable to accept and claim her accomplishments, no matter what level of success she has achieved or maintained. She may have abundant proof of her hard-won accomplishments, including wealth and material goods, but remains convinced that she either doesn’t deserve her success or that she is just a fraud. She dismisses outward signs of accomplishments as just luck or good timing. An “impostor” usually feels as if she has been deceptive, having made others think she is more intelligent or skilled than she believes herself to be. Most people who admit to feeling like impostors are women, although there is some evidence that many men feel this way too.”
— Karyl McBride, Will I Ever Be Good Enough? Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers
Shoutout to everyone who struggled with their body image today. Who maybe couldn’t stand to look in the mirror, who thought toxic thoughts about themselves, who felt like there was no way they could learn to love themselves.
Learning to love your body is hard. It takes time. It’s okay if today was an off day, or if it’s been an off week or month or year. Just keep trying. You’ll get there, I promise.
if you wore those plaid shorts like those plaid shorts in elementary school you like women now
