A spurr of the moment rememberance satchel. I dedicated this satchel to my Bullmastiff Egypt who passed in June. She was my first dog and I'll never forget her. It just seemed right to dedicate my first Samhain spell of the season to her. You can dedicate this to anyone you want, you aren't limited to pets.
What I used:
•Mortar and Pestal
•Sage
•Moonwater
•Large leaves from outside
•Rosemary Oil
•Black Salt
•Moon Ritaul Incense
•Patchouli Resin
•Pinecone
•Dog hair removed before she was cremated
•Petals from an air dryed flower given to me after her death
•Black and Red crystal (unsure of what it was called)
•Frankensense resin
•Black satchel
I first crumbled up the large leaf as it wouldn't fit in my mortar, and then began to crush it with the pestal. Once I was satisfied with that, I added the crystal and resins, sage, rosemary oil, pinecone, moonwater, black salt and incense, petals, and lastly I added the dog hair. I mixed everything together and then put it into the bag. Afterwards, I prayed to my Goddess and asked for her to protect Egypt's spirit and guide her. Then, I put the satchel inside this Build-A-Bear that was given to me by a friend.
Hecate Altar Box
In honor of Samhain, we have listed a group of four altar boxes that pay homage to some of our favorite crones.
we proudly introduce the Hecate Altar Box in honor of the mother of witches:
This beautiful bundle is the perfect addition to an existing altar to Hecate or for those just starting to build an altar and relationship with her. All items were picked with care and are cleansed before shipping.
This altar includes - *Small photo of Hecate in a ornate black frame *Night Queen incense cones *Small vial of Frankincense and lavendar oil - perfect for anointing your tools, candles or self *Black tourmaline stone * Two antique style keys - a primary symbol of Hecate *Dried Willow leaves - the willow is sacred to Hecate. These leaves were harvested from the hallowed ground of our favorite cemetery

How to prep for Samhain ✬✬✬
So you realized Samhain’s coming soon and just like every year you’re rushing everything last second. Right? Welcome to the messy witch club. In this post I’m gonna share with you some ideas to help you maximize these days and get ready for Samhain in time;) Enjoy!
1) Buy your ritual pumpkin. Any type, size and shape would do. Whether at the farmers’ market or at the supermarket, it’s important to choose a healthy-looking orange buddy to keep you company for as long as possible, even when it dries. If unsure, don’t buy multiple pumpkins: just focus on choosing the one. Name it straight away. Call it by its name from the very start of your friendship.
2) Buy pumpkin for cooking purposes. Whole, chopped, sliced, puréed, powdered (does it even exist?), whatever. The secret here is to do your research and preselect a specific recipe that you’d like to follow, so you’re not wasting money buying random ingredients or extra pumpkin.
3) Have a ritual candle ready. Basic but important. Make sure you have at least one (preferably scented) medium-sized candle to create the right atmosphere in your sacred space. Planning ahead your Samhain ritual intentions helps you matching the color/scent of the candle to promote best results afterwards.
4) Sip spicy drinks/red wine. Stick to rustic, simple, peculiar aromas. Give space to new drinks. Anise tea anyone? Even a strongly spiced hot chocolate could be an alternative! The “red wine club” should in fact go for Pinot Noir. Carmenere, Castillo and Zinfandel are premium treats.
5) Ditch the jeans for dresses, skirts, tights, socks and leggings. Pretty self explanatory, but I encourage you to have fun wearing fancy stuff that hugs our beloved legs or shows them now that the season isn’t freezing yet. Plus, pants aren’t always so comfy. Take care of your girls from time to time…
6) Start familiarizing with your tarot deck or pendulum. Use your tools everyday, learn how they work and how they can be interpreted. This step is key to really take heed of Samhain’s magic: the chance to communicate with that part of our family and forefathers on the other side. This time of the year is favorable for divination and readings.
*Don’t mess with ouija practice, that’s dangerous. Yes, it’s trending blablabla but it’s no joke. To know more about ritual safety, read here.*
7) Check moon phases everyday. Just do it. Read about each phase, what it means and what action it does promote. That’d make you aware of the potential outcome of certain types of spells that you may want to cast later on Oct 31st. Also, being aligned with moon cycles during these two weeks will allow you to slowly progress in everyday life, especially from Samhain’s night onwards, as you’ll be able to view the upcoming year from a wiser perspective. 8) Stretch. “Oh wait what? Halloween workout? No way.”… No. Hear me out, breathe. This piece of advice is for making you feel in shape and physically ready for autumnal activities/everyday life. In fall, our muscles transition from the warmth of summer to the coldness of winter. Leaving them rigid and unstretched can cause the so called “seasonal pains”. We witches want to avoid that, ok? Commit to a 5-10 min stretching routine. If you like yoga, give it a try! If you’re a yogi/yogini, you’re one upping us all at this point… Good job!;D
9) Plan a house party or a night walk. Invite people over for a movie marathon, a tea party or pj party. This sabbat is perfect for indoor events/venues. However, the night walk and the trick or treat are definitely a must! Have a drink out, go crazy with makeup and outfits and have loads of random fun. Junk food allowed.
10) Invest in lip balm, hand cream and moisturizer. This is totally up to you and your own likings, though I’d suggest to go for more buttery formulas that can prevent any type of dryness or cold fissures. So m a j o r l y annoying…
11) Always, ALWAYS carry a flashlight with you this month. Safety first. +50 cookie points if you have it installed on your phone.
I really wish you all a good Samhain and hope this post was inspiring :D
xx

Queen Grimhilde’s Poison Apples - A jinx to cause temporary bad luck with the goal of teaching them a lesson.
*inspired by Queen Grimhilde’s Magic Apples*
Needed: - Black and blue or green candles - 8 apple shaped things! (paper cut outs will work great) - A fireproof bowl (or cauldron, if you like that classic witchy vibe) - Water - Paper - Pen - Taglock of the target - Green and blue food dye - Lemon Juice - A spice of your choice. Steps: - Gather your items and Light your candles. - Use your spice to create a ring inside your bowl. - On your paper, write about what your target has done to deserve this bad luck. - Light your paper on fire, and let it burn as close to ash in the bowl as you can. - Add your water to the bowl. Stir to mix the spice and ash into the water. - Add some food dye to the water to make it the green, turquoise or blue of your choice. - Take your taglock and add it to the water. Make sure it gets totally soaked. - Add your lemon juice. You dont need a lot, but it will make sure your jinx packs a punch. - Take your apple cut outs, and say this incantation as you add them to your potion: “ By Apple of one, It is you that I shun, By Apple of two, The joke is on you, By Apple of three, Bad luck I wish for thee, By Apple of four, Shall you be followed by uproar, By Apple of five, You will no longer connive, By Apple of Six, You’ve taken your kicks, By Apple of Seven, You’ve learned your Lesson, By Apple of Eight, There is no more hate. When the Apples are all gone, This Jinx will be too, and hopefully you will start anew.“ - Blow out your candles, and dispose of the water and its contents safely. - The jinx will end after a maximum of 8 days.

Tip for witches who disassociate!!!! Charm a length of leather or hemp or embroidery thread– anything you can make a bracelet out of– with intent for grounding and peace Then cut it in half Weave two bracelets out of the string ((you can knot stones that are grounding into them too– I like using heavy stones like hematite or healers gold)) Wear one on the left wrist on the other on the right ankle Whenever you feel the disassociation creeping in imagine the energy connecting the two bracelets weaving through your body– anchoring your soul in it!!

A lot of planets are going to start going retrograde. This means we are being tested on all that we have learned over the past few months. When old patterns and loop show up, recognize them for what they are. Take a new approach this time. Clear the cycles for good.
So I went to a cemetery today. It was really nice, I love walking around cemeteries. But when I got to the back I started to feel.. uncomfortable? I got a migraine. I didn’t feel right so I walked back towards the front of the cemetery and when I left that section it’s like my migraine instantly vanished.
When visiting a cemetery, it is considered polite witchcraft to ask permission and make an offering to the gatekeeper of the cemetery. The gatekeeper is considered to be the first person laid to rest in the cemetery, so you’d look for the oldest grave. But if that’s not possible, you can also look for the tallest monument. I’ve been told it’s traditional to knock three times and leave an offering of three silver coins (or dimes). Though I have left other offerings over the years and felt welcome in the cemetery.

worship and protect the earth more. i love the moon and sun as much as anybody but the earth is our mother and she gets very little respect. i know y'all feel our atmosphere changing.
This is so damn real. And important. We are always talking about and sharing moon rituals, and the importance of the moon and how we use it to heal, or charge, or bless ourselves. Well, the earth does all of those things on a constant basis. Her blessing literally never cease or fade from the moment we a conceived to the moment we die. We all, but particularly witches, need to do more to heal, charge, and bless our earthly mother. She doesn’t get the respect she deserves.
