not going to say direct spoilers for the tadc finale but wow did you guys know that something can be "confirmed" without it being explicitly said because the writer(s) expected the audience to have media literacy? like, for example, if a character is overly hungry and tired when their blood sugar is low and hides an insulin pump under long sleeves, but they don't ever look to the camera and say "i have diabetes," we can still put the very simple pieces together and say "okay, so they canonically have diabetes and don't want to admit it." and yet some of y'all look at these kinds of scenes and are like. well they didn't say it so it's not canon. y'all be looking at this kinds of puzzles and start crying bc it's too hard for you

Honestly Xiahou Dan/Zhang San is god's strongest solider because if I had spent more than half of my life trapped in a novel I didn't even read, facing constant assassination attempts, intimidation, and debilitating migraines, and I'd started to question my very grasp on reality and if there even was a real world and then someone spoke to me in English, confirming that not only did I come from another place but that I was no longer alone... I would have sobbed uncontrollably right then and there

I kinda like the idea of jax becoming a cautionary tale of what happens when you let dysphoria and self hatred eat you alive. I've met so many of him IRL in my own circles. I think people need to hear it. I need more characters who eat themselves alive and actually have to suffer the consequences of not choosing to be better. It's pretty refreshing to see a different and nuanced take on dysphoria and how it doesn't always manifest the way you would expect.
