Tell me your name.
It wasn’t a question, it was a command. She could feel the pull in his voice. Were he speaking to anyone else, she was sure they would be inclined to answer exactly as he desired. Instead, with eyes glowing red, she met his gaze and breached his mind. This was who had Scott Summers in such turmoil. She remembered the fear in his voice. He’s very persuasive. The Purple Man. Kilgrave. Kevin Thompson. And now he wanted to use her as one of his toys? He truly was dense. Wanda Maximoff was no one’s toy.
“Your party trick won’t work on me, Kevin. How dare you command me? You clearly have no idea with whom you speak.”
At first, he thought he had just gotten lucky. He had found another poor mutant soul that had no place in the world. Those were his favorites, being able to bring them some new purpose, no matter how much they didn’t want it. He saw her eyes glow deep red, and was reminded of the boy who had lasers for eyes. It certainly was a nice touch, until no response came from her, something that was like an alarm going off in his head.
His eyes narrowed, waiting for any sort of answer, skeptical in all belief now that this was another being who was immune to his power, soemthing he surely despised. Then, she spoke, making him face his most irrational of fears. “Kilgrave. My name is Kilgrave” He snarled out. “And you’ve no right to know who I am. Tell. me. your. name.” Kilgrave spat back.
