There are two of us. You think we might have too many coats?
A: My therapist said not to drink before 5 unless I'm next to a body of water.
B: Fill up the sink.
I don't usually post about celebrity deaths, but this one hit especially hard. I saw the headline and immediately started sobbing.
I just realized it's not the am and I may be old.
Dear Taco Bell
I wish I weren't talking to you, but I am. ... Could your line please be shorter at unaleep-o'clock in the am?
Nothing like moving to make you realize how few friends you have...
Oh, I wanna dance with somebody
With somebody who loves me
Those things that people "condemn"... I thought we were serious...
Most girls actually do practice in a mirror, don't they? Not just the smile, but all the goofy faces too... I wish I were less honest about my vanity...
Why is it that the people with the biggest noses have the worst sinus problems??? Shouldn't it be the other way around??
I always looked young for my age...
But now that I'm 25, I'm pretty sure I would pass for 30 before I passed for 20.
"I'm a damsel. I'm in distress. I can handle this. Have a nice day!"
I could take a few lessons from Meg.
When tech week is not going well
Always clap. Every time. You never don't clap for Tinkerbell.
"Some say that as we grow up, we become different people at different ages, but I don't believe this. I think we remain the same throughout, merely passing in these years from one room, to another, but always in the same house. If we unlock the rooms of the far past, we can look in and see ourselves beginning to become you and me."
I wish you could understand
I wish.. i wish.... i just wish.
Question about Allergies...
Has anyone ever met anyone who is definitely allergic/ intolerant to soy?
I'm not trying to be insensitive. I have Celiac disease and am therefore intolerant to gluten. I know people make fun of that a lot, but I had a biopsy to confirm it. It's a real thing. It isn't "just a fad." I don't have a problem with people avoiding gluten just to be healthier etc. It's not good for anyone, and I've met people who cut it out of their diet just to try it. They don't pretend to have Celiac. Nobody is faking this (unless it's a complete conspiracy... but nobody is lying about it as far as I can tell). I could go on a whole rant about this, but I digress.
Anyway, the warnings I always see are: soy, milk, egg, wheat, peanuts, tree-nuts, and shellfish.
I know people with a lactose intolerance and a gluten intolerance, but the fact of the matter is: LACTOSE IS IN MORE THAN JUST MILK, and...... GLUTEN IS IN WAY MORE THAN JUST WHEAT!
I met a kid with an egg allergy once when I worked at Jim's, but when I told the mother that the *breading* on the fries that he was eating was stuck on with eggs, she said, "oh well. Guess he might have a tummy ache," and let him keep eating them, even though she told me it was an allergy. I understand calling an intolerance an allergy at a restaurant because most people don't respect an intolerance. They just write it off as a fad. Anyway, that's the only "egg allergy" I've ever encountered.
I've never seen a reaction to a peanut allergy, but I have heard countless horror stories. Nobody believes that this is made up. PS- I DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANY OF THIS IS MADE UP, I'M JUST TRYING TO UNDERSTAND HOW COMMON/ SEVERE ALL OF THIS IS. Anyway, everyone understands the severity of peanut allergies. I have had campers with peanut and tree- nut allergies, and their parents left their medications with us every day. That is very important.
I've never met anyone with the shellfish allergy, but the movies have taken care of how severe that is, so unless it's a total conspiracy, I believe that too.
I have also met multiple people with citric acid allergies, and that isn't even labeled!!!
I'm not trying to discredit it, but I have never met or heard of anyone who is allergic or intolerant to soy!
I'm just trying to understand where they get the criteria for what they put on the labels!
Can't How To Tumblr...
How do you leave a comment on a post?
What do all the symbols mean?
Why should I even be a part of this?? In my day-to-day life, I give absolutely zero shits about what's happening on "tumblr," but every time I log in, I can't stop!
