Because I will never get over the fact that no one told me about the glory that was Jeri Hogarth while she was actually on the air, this one also needs some serious word-of-mouth to get the traction it so well deserves.
Die Alone, starring Carrie-Anne Moss. Yes, it's a zombie movie with a horrible title. No, it's nothing you expect. Yes, it's one of the best films I've seen lately, or possibly ever. It is feminist AF. It subverts every expectation I had going into a "horror" film, from what it would be about, to who it would be about, how a ultra-low budget and Canadian indie would look, and most importantly, how the lady-actor-of-a-certain-age would be used in the story.
Don't spoil yourself. Just watch it. It's on VOD now. Or Apple TV. Or Prime. Or whatever. Just watch it.
