The Long Walk boys as LPS
A very autistic rambling of two things that should not connect but yet…they do. Also I’ve only seen the movie atm <3
When I came home from the movie I looked over and who did I see but this little guy staring back at me and I nearly burst into tears because this is Ray. Like no ifs and or buts, this is Ray.
I knew I wanted Pete to compliment Ray and at first I didn’t want him to be a cat but this ragdoll mold is perfect for his like comforting vibe while also being big and strong vibes without being a typically “hyper masculine” lps
I can’t really explain this one LMAO. It just spoke to me, it’s the most Olson one I could find out of the 3k I searched through, like yea,, that’s him!
I went back between this and LPS #319, and part of me still thinks #319 is the better choice cause it’s got the kind face and thin but sturdy build but aghh I WANTED HIM TO BE A BIRD SO BAD!! So this is what I landed with ^^, a bird to me means more than another dog.
I wanted him to be so little hehehe. I looked through all the actually “children” LPS but I think the simple hamster works much better to convey that youth without it being too cutesy.
Gary Barkovitch: LPS #364
Oh he had to be a cat he had to be! I would have made him a wolf cat if there was a bigger variety but after seeing the charm he carries and his personality that reminds me of a stray cat trying to be brought in but is too scared that they scratch so people end up just hating it instead is so ughhh <33!! So kitty :3
I know making Collie a Collie would have been perfect but none of them fit!! They didn’t, its true, and this dachshund just fit too well. Also the mog… I also thing a protective energy of dogs fits well. I was also thinking a fox or smth but again the lack of variety made it hard to find out that matched well.
The moment I saw this one I knew it had to be. The rabbit was obvious but the rabbits were all fine but nothing sparked until I saw this flocked rabbit. There’s something that’s just off and beaten about it but it still stands out and it’s almost unnerving and I think it’s perfect. Because despite it being soft, it’s strange and looks older than it should like worn down and it reminded me of the specific mechanical nature of him.
Richard Harkness: LPS #33
I was stuck between him being maybe a lizard or turtle but I just like the face on this one hehe there’s just something charming about it, like him, that’s also kinda dorky and easy to not take seriously especially compared to the others.
That’s it! Thank you for reading my rambles hshsh
