a lot of people reblog this with "and chihuahuas!" and to risk sounding like a bit of an ass, Yes chihuahuas are routinely neglected and abused for their reactions and such and its a big problem. but its not nearly the same thing. chihuahuas arent illegal in many places across the world due to stigma. chihuahuas dont have a public reputation for being dangerous baby killers. tbey arent widely feared and hated by the world. nobody is looking at your chihuahua like its gonna kill them when youre walking it. yes small dogs are subject to routine neglect that needs to be talked about but thats not what im talking about here because pitties and bully breeds are in a very different kind of danger.
pit bulls are routinely put down for false biting reports because the court system is biased against them. pit bulls are banned from living accomodations for no reason other than a false idea of what they are. pit bulls are still horrifically abused and weaponized by the dog fighting scene.
small dogs deserve MUCH better, its something im actually quite passionate about having been a small dog owner multiple times over, but thats a different conversation altogether in my opinion

Maybe don’t assume a binary presentation for a nonbinary character at all! Maybe, the solution to “people assume masculinity for nonbinary characters a lot” is not “lets assume femininity instead.” maybe the solution is actually to stop assuming a nonbinary character has to present one out of two ways. its in the word. non-binary.

As I mentioned previously, I am getting surgery for a debilitating health condition I've been dealing with 14 months (dragged out because of doctors' misdiagnoses) that's basically destroyed my quality of life. I'm in pain daily.
Unfortunately, the surgery can't be done in Canada because it requires expertise (details in the GFM). Also because I'm trans there are surgeons who just don't want to take my case or are prohibited by their hospital from doing it (a US surgeon was going to operate but was stopped by her hospital considering it "gender affirming care").
So I have to go to Madrid for it which will cost €40,000 (approx $60,000 CAD, Canadian Dollars). I don't expect to raise all $60,000, but I am trying to raise half of it ($30,000). My family will be helping with the other half,
I don't really expect to get the $30,000, because it's a LOT of money, but I'm in a desperate situation and in pain every single day. If you could donate anything or even just boost and share to any platforms/communities you can, it would help me so much. <
I don't like asking for money and I don't like using EG to fund raise, and I know it's a tough time for everybody right now economically, but as I said I'm desperate, so I hope you all understand me using my platform for this.
