ooc. I love how Aoharu x Kikanjuu is just ‘paintball anime’ for me. Alsoooo, might make a new character?? Kei is my first oc I did with this style of rp, and I don’t know if I really fully developed him before jumping right in, so I might try to make something a lil different/more interesting. Not that I don’t love my manipulative sunshine child, but I kinda rushed to make this blog and his character and rlly wanna develop a dynamic character ‘cus tbh I haven’t done that in a while & I am here to rp some deep shit ™

just when yuuto was convinced that’d copped a good seat – alone, some idiot came running in at the last minute && ripped the relief straight from his chest. keeping his eyes downcast, he hoped that the other would get the hint, though when he began to introduce himself, he knew that he’d have to admit DEFEAT. not wasting a moment to look at his new classmate’s smiling face, he replied. ❝ i’m yuuto. ❞ && left it at that. it wasn’t his intention to be rude – no, he simply lacked the skills to effectively communicate with other people. less eye contact meant less stuttering; what he didn’t know was the disgusting vibe he’d give off simply by trying to save himself some embarrassment.
on the table, he already had a few pencils && papers scattered about. shaky, clumsy hands reached over to shove them all to his half of the table, confining himself to a smaller portion of the table.
KEI PUT HIS HAND DOWN AND stared at the other for a moment. It was clear this person wasn’t the chatty type, but it made Kei feel slightly bad that he’d picked the seat in the first place. But it was college after all. There were bound to be classes completely filled, so it’s not like he could do anything about it. He moved his bag on his side farthest from who he now knew to be yuuto and started pulling out his supplies. The other seemed to be antsy because of it, and though maybe it was best to leave the situation alone, they’d be spending months sitting beside each other, and it’d probably make his life easier if he won him over. ❛ you know, if you ever need any pencils or paper, just ask! ❜ he beamed at the other, trying to give the most friendly aura possible. Sometimes people were just shy or awkward and had trouble making friends. Perhaps his classmate just needed a little push. Or maybe Kei was just annoying the shit out of him. Could be either. ❛ I heard there were group projects too. I’m your guy if you need someone. ❜ He put his two fingers up to his eye and winked at the other.

It’s a special day! ” He exclaims, every ounce of his body lighting up into the metaphorical personification of an exclamation mark ( ! ) once he brought back up why he was here in the first place: to mingle, of course! He loved showing new friends around his favorite resting spots outside of work hours whenever the chance was given. He smiles, and gestures toward both of his hands to which he grasps onto tightly without any initial warning, dragging Kei along the sidewalks of Busan.
“ You’ll love it, I promise! There are many people I know who would love you– plus, I can sneak in a few free drinks for you.”
KEI WAS IN A MUCH MORE RELAXED state being out of the country, away from his job, school, the extras. It was a time where he felt like he could actually enjoy himself, even though he knew he wasn’t fond of crowds or loud settings. He’d been sight seeing and enjoying his break, but if he could just push through this encounter and find something interesting wherever EV was taking him, it couldn’t be too bad. Plus, his friend was excited about it, and though he wasn’t very good at actually being friendly, he had to remind himself he still had his acting skills. ❛ oh. ❜ he said when the other grabbed him and they started moving. ❛ are you sure that’s okay? ❜ he asked. he wouldn’t say no to free drinks, but as a friend you had to be polite. he definitely wasn’t planning on getting drunk though.

despite the fact that Kei really despised interacting with most people and would rather be at home playing video games or watching anime, he actually didn’t mind his fellow classmate. Sometimes, depending on the person, it was a much needed break from cleaning tables and everything, especially since the restaurant tended to be close to empty on weekdays. ❛ what about you? what have you been up to? ❜ Kei went over to grab a menu for him even though it wasn’t supposed to be his job. Of course, the waiters were in the back smoking and talking. The owner really was lucky to have him.

IT WAS A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP. Or well, more like the professor was making them go to the museum to research the objects on display and write a report on one of them. He didn’t mind going, considering he was into stuff like this. The museum was beautiful and filled with various different things, and thankfully, quiet. It gave him a peace that he usually didn’t normally get during his day to day life, somewhere he could go at his own pace. There were so many things to look at too. Kei had already been there about an hour and was walking around the back area, trying to think of what he’d actually do his report on when something dark in the corner caught his eyes. He headed over to it and what he found was stunning. Though, it seemed to be almost hidden in such a large place, it drew him in like nothing else.

HE DIDN’T KNOW WHY HE WAS doing this. He rarely gave away information for free. Even if sketchy deals were taking place, he kept it to himself unless someone wanted the information. But maybe it was because he’d never seen something like this before. Something he could barely comprehend but so dark and twisted. It sat with him ever since he’d heard about the conversation, heard what these people were planning to do. He didn’t know why, but it felt like he couldn’t let it happen. He didn’t consider it a good deed by any means, but something in his head was telling him if this happened, a lot of shit would go down that could affect other people. Which is why he was standing in front of a discreet building, holding an envelope with the juicy details inside. He didn’t know if he even had the right place, but from whispers and rumors, Kei had heard they came around there sometimes, possibly lived there.

IT WAS HIS FAULT. He should’ve been more careful. Trying to tail someone out of his league, someone who was a hell of a lot stronger and dangerous than he was used to. But he thought, if he could just get a recording of him saying the details he needed, his compensation would be bigger than usual. Even more than that, he’d prove he was capable of doing stuff like this. SNEAKING without getting caught. But he was wrong. Very wrong. Which was why he was sitting knees to his chest on a corner street behind a box to hide from the burly man who’d been chasing him just minutes ago. It wasn’t all bad though. He’d been able to get some information, an occasional word here and there from the guy’s phone conversation, but that was all before he’d realized what Kei was doing and tried to catch him. It was moments like these where Kei wished he was more athletically inclined, but h i d i n g would have to do.

ooc. about Kei time!!
I didn’t really want to put this directly in his personality section because I didn’t want it to be so obvious, but Kei is not naturally a nice person. Anytime he’s nice to someone, it’s either for his job or to keep up appearances so people will feel like they can trust him, and he can get information(or use them). So, depending on if Kei feels like he has to bother with you, you’ll either get his super happy and polite side or his if you even think about trying to initiate small talk with me right now I’ll break your arm side.

GUARD DOWN. SMILE GONE. class was over. work was over. Kei could just relax. He always waited near the end of his walk home to finally get comfortable, fearing someone might recognize him and want to chat. the change wasn’t drastic, but keeping up appearances all day was draining, and it was a relief to let go of a certain appearance. He turned the corner close to where his apartment was, walking up to a familiar shop, a convenience store he’d just recently found, far enough away from work where he felt comfortable going in without being bothered. They had some of the best onigri he’d ever tasted and usually chose that as an alternative to making dinner. Kei appreciated their efforts and displays, but he really couldn’t be bothered to give the workers the same kind of treatment he gave paying customers at his job.

IT WAS HIS FAULT FOR GETTING THERE so late, but when he’d rushed in the classroom, practically all the seats were full, even the ones in the back. He sighed, wishing his alarm had actually gone off on time, but the deed was done. There was some big pact with most college students that whichever seat you chose, you stuck with it for the semester. Finder’s keepers, so this was an important moment. He looked around the room and surprisingly, saw a seat with a great view of the front, but...the occupant beside it..well, can’t judge a book by it’s cover! Kei walked up and put his bag down under the table, not shying away from greeting his new seatmate. ❛ Hello, I’m Kei. Nice to meet you. ❜ He waved and grinned at the other. It was good to get to know people. More contacts. More opportunities.

KEI SIGHED AS HE WAITED PATIENTLY for the professor to come to class. He was an eccentric man with odd teaching techniques, but it definitely made the art class interesting. Kei was studying sociology, but he also wanted to try a hand in art and learning to draw, so he was taking a few classes in that field of study. The only downside to this particular class was that while the professor’s personality was fun a lot of the times, it was also sporadic and he sometimes forgot there was class on certain days. This seemed to be one of those times. Ah well. He glanced to his left and saw a fellow classmate who seemed to be busying themself and managed a small smile. He hadn’t made any friends in the class yet, but now was his chance. Hoping they wouldn’t hate him for trying to make small talk, he asked, ❛ Any chance he sent an email? ❜
