The surface? Maybe she’ll ask him what he means later but for now she’s just kind of…registering the fact that he’s holding her hand. It’s not a bad thing! Just…wow he sure moves fast. If this was a ploy to mess with her she was absolutely falling for it because, damn she could not resist those innocent reactions to…well, anything.
“Sounds like a plan. Can’t wait t'go for a ride!” By now they’d managed to make it to the office of the dealership and Ryuuko, being the super smooth operator she was, just pulls the door open with one hand so that she and her new friend don’t actually have to stop holding hands just yet.
She approaches the desk with Papyrus in tow, though carefully angling him partially behind her because she will jump the counter on a fucker, don’t test her. Pulling her smirkiest grin she speaks up, staring down the skinny, frowning little asshole left to man the desk. “Hey. So, my friend here is ready to buy his car.”
Fortunately it only take a little persuading and Ryuuko slamming her hand down on the counter once to get the scrawny little bigot too scared to deny either other them. Finally, however reluctantly on the staff’s part, the keys are handed over (to Ryuuko because assholes still need the last jab) and finally the smaller woman beams at her tall skeleton friend and holds them out for him.
“Congrats, Papyrus!”
The naive skeleton really did not even notice the violent response from his small new friend at other people. Or, maybe he just thought it was a normal thing to do? Whatever the case was, he was far too excited to do anything about it anyway.
When Ryuuko holds out the keys, Papyrus takes them.
...I’m lying. When Ryuuko holds out the keys, Papyrus takes Ryuuko instead. With a dropped bag of gold on the counter to the staff’s desk for the car, Papyrus was jogging-- no, sprinting towards his new car, with excited noises that were a mix between his normal “Nyeh heh heh”s and a sound more akin to a cat then anything else.
He stopped in front of it. Like, halted mid-sprint. Fuck Newton’s laws of physics. And object in motion does not stay in motion if it is Papyrus. If he needed to breathe and had lungs, he would’ve been holding his breath here. He could hardly believe this was it. He couldn’t...
“... I feel a bit funny. It’s like excitement, but... hm. I don’t know. This is new.”
