EP 5: The Dust settles

Versace had finally convinced Passion to meet with Reggie. All season long the tension was thick, and the only thing she was doing was dodging. There was too much going on for her to worry about drama, but as she pulled up in the all white Infinity truck she wished she hadn’t. “Hey.” She spoke up after walking into the restaurant and sitting on her side of the table. What was going to be said was lost for her, but all she knew is that this was the last time. “I heard about your Kidney’s, how are you doing?”

Reggie agreed with Versace to meet with Passion. He had no malice toward her even after the first conversation. He knew she wasn’t going to take what he said well, and things boiled over from that. After the battle with alcoholism, his kidneys failing, and being broke, he had a different outlook on things. Meeting with Passion would be an old door opened and then hopefully closed for good.

Reggie nodded to her as she approached. “What’s good?” He then gave her an assured smile. “Kidneys are new, working well, thanks for asking.” Reg knew exactly what he wanted to say. “You know, I hurt you, and I didn’t understand that before. Definitely didn’t place myself in your position. I think I would have been even more livid if I found out you were with my friend.” He paused for a moment, “we both know I’d be livid. So Right now Passion I apologize for not being sympathetic to the way you felt that moment.”

Passion was taken back by how he started the conversation off, because she figured it wouldn't be this easy. When he apologized it hit her somewhere she thought that he wasn't capable of hitting anymore. The sincerity in his voice let her know that he had truly changed as a person, and they were able to have a conversation about this without it turning into a fight. "I really respect and accept your apology. I just really needed time and with everything going on with us, and then Eboni it was a lot. I really do wish yall the best. It sucks, but it's life." She shrugged her shoulders, because she was over it.

Jordan clicked the spacebar on his laptop and let the song play all the way through for her. Once the song was finished playing, Jordan leaned back in his chair and put on of his feet on the edge of the soundboard. “What you think?”

Jordan had been cooped up in the house with Judah for the past few weeks and the first day that he had went out there was a fight. Jordan was over that shit and decided to go back to his normal schedule of being in the studio and going home to his wife. Passion was one of the hottest females in the game at the moment, and he had a track he wanted her on. He had managed to get a hold of her and told her to meet him at the studio. Since he basically lived there, he was already sitting in there facing a blunt waiting for her to arrive.

Passion really was only focusing on the tour that she wasn’t really recording. Then her manager let her know King Leo wanted to meet. He’d caught her eye musically and she really loved what he was doing. She tapped on the door before walking in. “Hey, hey.” She smiled and waved.

Jordan was happy that Passion showed up. “You’re a busy woman, thank you for coming,” Jordan said, giving her a quick hug. “I got a song that I think would be perfect for you, but i'on wanna be interrupting you if you too busy.”

"We decided to do a mixtape, because we wanted to have our own separate time on stage, but also a section where we can rock out together." She picked up her OJ, and then grabbed the blunt from Zeus. "Yes, that is the freakymugga himself." Chuckling, he peeked his head in, acknowledging the fans. "He came over to the condo after the release so we could celebrate a little before we go on our press run." Taking a hit of the blunt she passed it back to him. "So, I have a big surprise for you guys. If you buy or have bought a VIP pass for the tour you will get a free vinyl copy of the mixtape, and you'll get to party with us during the afterparty for your city. Now this is only running for a week. If you already got VIP you're already set to party with us." She smiled, shaking her head. "Before we go I want to give a shout out to my label sister Tiffany for her freshmen project coming out this week." She blew a kiss before logging off.
