cn we just be honest. a lot of ppl do wack ass cschlatt characterizations fr the many reasons ive said b4 (horrific ableism, the crazy ccbiases and culture at the time, the fact everyone was getting their info frm third hand accounts instead of watching the series, ETC.) but another huge thing is 😭 the woobification and declawing of other characters. if there's a convenient big bad boogeyman you can use to try to scrub the agency and unsavory actions of yr faves then.... lmao.

like ctubbo isn't allowed to be be deeply stubborn or snippy, a lil knife twister, presumptuous and morally dubious in the first place. he can't be a cold blooded murderer or weirdly ruthless or have complicated feelings abt betraying a guy whn they were mutual buddies who actually rlly cared abt eachother. instead he needs to be this poor weebly mushy shape of himself to more easily exist fr angst fodder at the expense of everything tht makes him himself. being treated by the fanbase the same way he hates being treated in canon like okayyyy.........

and same w cq since we're on the ccabinet train,,, he can't be shitty and cruel on his own, a mean girl manipulative genuinely sadistic in a way other characters don't tend to match. the willingness to kill and torture and destroy whatever he can if it means he can win, the fact he would play the craziest jokes on people since DAY ONE and lashes out wildly whenever he feels backed into a corner but nooo no he's actually just a poorrrr baby who never did anything wrongggg :'[ who needs to be saved frm the influence of big bad cschlatt like he didn't CHOSE to be at his side over and over again and actively AGREED and LAUGHED abt soooo so so much of the things that "big bad" cschlatt would do, and was trying to go back to him numerous times b4 and after manburg like 🧍‍♂️

idk ysee it over and over w sm characters.... cfundy cwil all these ppl unable to make their own decisions, have their own flaws, have their own plots or beliefs, bcs the cschlatt ppl invented in their heads and let their biases fuel smhow had the time to like. turbo abuse 80 ppl every hour like he has sm kinda stopwatch or daily log in 😭😭😭😭 whn he's just as much a canonical victim as cwil and on the villain totem poll even cbutton have higher body counts please come tf on. it rlly does become undeniable once you become aware of it 😭 idk man check yr damn biases already get real or don't and while yr at it rewatch the series fr me or perhaps :heart_hands_emoji: finally watch it fr the first time

I realized a lot of really fucked up things about Pogtopia the more I drew this. I watched a lot of streams, caught up on some details I didn’t previously know everything about, and that pit… the pit gives me shivers.
