SEND !! FOR A STARTER FROM OUR MUSE’S CHILD
From the way August was speaking Wesley could tell that he was describing him, in a literary fashion. “Wow,” he breathed after the other was finished. “I honestly didn’t expect something so beautiful. Now I feel pretty lame saying that the word I thought to describe you would be genuine. It definitely doesn’t compare.”
"Yeah well I think too much,” he blushes clinking his nail against his glass his cheeks red. “Genuine sounds good enough to me. Definitely a more natural thing to say to someone you’ve just met,” he mumbles.
“Oh come on you can’t even tell me the first word that pops into your head when you think of desrcibing me?” Wes exaggerated wanting to hear what his true thoughts of him were. No matter if the date was going well he wanted to be completely sure. August seemed like someone who would be openly kind to anyone even if he didn’t like them. “I know what mine would be.”
August blushed and traces the rim of his champagne glass, “I’m not good with explaining myself in one word. Never makes sense,” he breathes. “In college I always failed at writing those six word story things.” August swallowed and said, “He was beautiful really, in the strangest of ways. There was no specific feature you could point to that made him so, it was just the way he was. It wasn’t just his exterior that made something inside me stir and flutter, it was his heart and the way he spoke and thought,” he mutters peering down into his glass.
“Those are both really interesting things to be passionate about.” Wesley nodded reaching to pour himself another glass of champagne offering some to the other as well. Out of nowhere he got an idea of something that truly would show what the other thought of him. “Describe me. If you were writing about me how would you describe me?”
"No, no, no,” August says, “I can’t imagine anything more embarassing, besides I’m a writer because it means I can express myself in written word rather than spoken word. I’m a writer we’re naturally shy when it comes to our true thoughts, even if they’re flattering. Maybe one day I’ll write it down for you,” he mutters. He’d probably write it when he got home and ponder it for a long while and then maybe he’d eventually give it to him.
With the idea of the other coming to one of his games Wes found himself content. “Tell me the things that you like to do, that you don’t get a chance to talk about. For me people always want to hear about how I play soccer. What they don’t know is that I really like photography too. So what’s your passion asside from writing.”
August smiles and says, “I actually really like photography too, it kind of goes with my writing sometimes. I like old polaroid cameras. I kind of just like combining my photography with my writing sometimes but I only do that for myself, not really for others to see. I guess I also like the French language. When I was in high school I was a part of the French club,” he nods.
“Well maybe if I’m lucky you’ll be more interested in watching me than the match,” he grinned gazing into the other’s eyes as he took a strong swallow. “The only thing that can be difficult are fouls or the plays but no one should really understand those. Just make sure you defend and score on the right goal. Simple enough. Sorry if I sound trite but I would really love to learn more about you.”
August smiles and blushes glancing down a bit, “Maybe,” he mutters. He laughs a bit and says, “I don’t really know what to say. What would you like to know?” He asks whilst sipping his champagne.
“ –baby,” nixon couldn’t help but laugh as he walked back into the kitchen after a short phone call. “daddy asked you to stir the ingredients, not wear them.” they had only just started baking christmas cookies when work had called him, and he had left the younger boy to simply stir the dry ingredients; which he thought was simple enough. walking over, he grabbed a dish rag and wiped off the boy’s face, before kissing his nose.
“hmmph...” he sighed frowning only slightly. perhaps he had been a bit too vigorus and excited about stirring. he smiles when his nose is kissed and the flour is wipe from his face. skylar began shaking bits of the flour from his hair and then stood on his tip toes to kiss him. “sorry daddy.”
everyone wants to FUCK the rich kid, but no one wants to work for it. as another one bites the dust, riley downs a shot of fireball ; veins lighting aflame as that too familiar warmth floods his body and he’s left with stupid ideas and an even stupider impulse. it’s HIS turn ; fuck waiting for someone. so it’s the first person that’s relatively attractive he chooses, walks over to, and orders another of whatever they’re having for them. ‘ you’re cute, ’ a matter-of-fact statement as he checks them out ; quite drunkenly and obviously.
'oh uh thanks,’ he says as another apple martini was placed in front of him. his friend had dragged him out tonight and while he had never intended on ordering anything, the last guy to hit on him had got him his present drink. it certainly wasn’t bad. ‘you’re cute too,’ he blushes like a middle schooler talking to their crush. ‘um, i’m skylar,’ he says glancing at the drunk male offering out his hand.
To know that the other had been in England for a stretch of time was something that really impressed him. “That’s amazing, to be honset I don’t mind you don’t have an education. I know that’s something most people would judge others for but considering my background it’s not a make or break kind of thing.” Wesley smiled and looked up with the waiter came back to pour their champagne. “You’ll have to come to a game sometime for sure,” he grinned picking up his glass and gesturing towards him. “A toast to successful blind dates?”
August smiled a bit and nods, “Yeah, I mean I don’t mind either, as long as you’re doing something you’re passionate about,” he nods. August smiles and says, “Yes, to successful blind dates,” he states clinking his glass lightly against Wesley’s. “I’d love to go to a game really, I love soccer or football whichever you prefer to call it. Even if I don’t know too much about it, I love to watch,” he states.
— ❝ oh.” cameron squeaked in surprise. his cock was growing hard at the thought of being full while winnie paraded him around. “i-i kinda like that idea.” he admitted, biting his lip shyly.
— ❝ good now strip and spread those pretty legs of yours.” winnie smirked and said, “i want you to think of me filling you up while i’m gone and just think about how good it’s going to feel when i slip right into you,” he purrs in cameron’s ear undoing the button of his jeans palming him gently.
‘ eh, i suppose so… i mean, i wasn’t planning on settling down before the age of thirty, but then it just kind of happened ! besides, when you meet that special someone, all the plans that you’ve made for yourself get thrown out of the window and you just kinda go with the flow ! like shit man, i had plans to sit on my ass all day, get high as fuck and live off my dad’s money for the rest of my life and look at me now : i’ve got a stable job, i pay for my own stuff and i’ve been sober for, like, three weeks that’s nearly a month, dude ! anyway, i’ve totally forgotten where i was supposed to be going with this, but if it wasn’t for him, i’d be a totally different person right now; it’s a scary thought well, there’s nothing wrong with being single. for example, you get to fuck whoever you want without having to worry about somebody else’s feelings and you don’t have to sit through awkward dinners with your partner’s side of the family ! ’
arden swallowed and tore his eyes away from the other deciding to stare forward instead. he was afraid something might reveal itself in his eyes if he looked at him too much. arden nods and says, “yeah,” there’s a long pause before he says, “think i might be ready for what you have instead though. maybe not the kids and all, but the other person bit. i don’t know, i’m not going to go actively searching for someone but, guess i wouldn’t fight it now if they came to me.” he wasn’t so sure he wanted someone else as much as he wanted to drown himself in another person so that he wasn’t so stuck on noah. so that he didn’t think too much about standing behind him during the wedding ceremony. much like now it had been a game of keeping his eyes placed anywhere but noah. as far as arden was concerned his one had come and gone and found his one. “you weren’t that bad before,” he states.
❝ ——— finn sits down next to the other male, throwing his arm around the curly haired’s shoulders and brings him close to him. “good, i would hate to have you hating me because your brother is an ass,” he informed him, pressing a soft kiss to the brunette’s jaw, “i hope you are a talented actor though. because i would also hate having you and your stupid brother fight.”
august smiled and moved onto finn’s lap with a sigh and smiles as the males kisses to his jaw. “could never hate you,’ he breathes. he’d never admit it but the fact that him and winnie were family was the only thing that kept him from completely siding with finn on most things. in truth august had only known winnie a little longer than he’d known finn. august smiles and says, “yeah well even still, i’d have you,” he sighs.

❝ ——— Jack was waiting at the airport for his client, where he was told to meet him, since the two were to leave for his newest client’s sister’s wedding. When he finally noticed the other he waved at them and walked over. “Hello,” he simply said as a smirk found it’s place on his face.
❝ Well hello beautiful,” Mikey said taking the others arm with ease. He wasn’t his first escort. Not at all, Mikey had had one before to keep himself from being paired with every available celebrity in Hollywood and just whenever he wanted to keep his family off his back. However he didn’t like to keep a certain one around for too long. They may get the wrong idea. Sure he might sleep with them a few times before letting them go but that was just business wasn’t it. However he wasn’t one to form romantic attachments like the one his half-sister Caroline was about to embark on. “Ready to go love?” He asks in the most casual of ways.

The world of literature wasn’t something that never sparked an interest with Wesley, not because he found it boring or useless but it just wasn’t his thing. But watching August talk so candidly about his work and his honsety about success showed his passion, which was attractive to him. At the mention of playing a spot it was his turn to turn a light shade of pink before nodding, “Yes I play football or soccer as most call it. If you couldn’t tell from my accent I’m from across the pond but really do enjoy things here. Someday I’ll probably play for a club team back home but I’m happy where I am now.”
“Yeah, I caught that a bit,” he nods. “That’s cool,” he smiles a bit. “I like to watch sports, I like soccer in particular. Guess I just like cheering people on, I tried to play soccer. I’m not very good I don’t think,” he laughs softly. “That’s great,” he nods. “I lived in London for a year or so. I went to Oxford for awhile but then I got published for real and my life was creating more books not going to class regularly.”
The request for champagne was something that surprised him but Wes only nodded and handed the wine menu back to the waiter who had approached their table. “Your finest champagne then,” he replied putting his attention back on the other across the table from him. “So you’re an author? Any kind of genre specifically that you enjoying writing?”
He was embarrassed a bit by his own statement and sat up a bit trying to straighten his posture. “Yeah, I am,” he nods sipping at the water already on the table. “I stick mostly to realistic fiction I suppose. I guess it just depends a bit on how things are going in my life. The first novel I wrote not many people paid much mind to, I guess. It was just a short one that was a bit of an angsty teen introspective sort of thing. I published that when I was seventeen and just wanted a bit more money. Didn’t get much attention until I wrote Dear Whoever’s Listening. That one was still angsty but I suppose it had more depth and bit of something for whatever any teen might be going through. Now I’m working on the sequel, which was part of the reason I was late. Deadlines and all,” he shrugs a bit. “You do a sport right?” He asks.
All of the rambling from the other was beyond adorable and Wes couldn’t find himself wanting to stop him. “In my opinion you’re perfectly put together,” he smiled giving him a comforting squeeze on the arm before moving to pull his seat out for him. “Please, sit down and look over the menu while I order us a good bottle of wine. Unles you prefer something else?”
He smiles a bit and sits down, he wants to pull himself together. August knows being a rambler is being himself and he still wants to maintain that. However he also wants to pull it together. He’s just about to say yes to the wine, as if it’s a programmed response but instead he stops himself. “Um...actually I prefer champagne. I don’t drink much, but I guess I just like champagne for the most part,” he says. “But wines good too,” he adds, “I can do wine,” he nods, losing the confidence he’s gained as quickly as he’s gained it.
