Just Holding on for Tonight// Garrett and Viviane

She shrugged at his words. âDidnât want to steal your bed,â she explained, before adding, âI was waiting for you to be the gentleman and offer, so thanksâ, in an attempt to lighten the mood. Dutifully she followed him up the stairs, noting instantly the changes that his room has undergone since the last time sheâd been there. It looked like he was moving, but she thought better than to comment on it just then.
Instead she moved to the side of the bed and drew back the covers before sitting down on the edge. âIf Iâm not sleeping on the couch, what makes you think you are?â Viviane raised an eyebrow. âItâs your bed. And its not like weâve never shared a bed before,â she pointed out, before remembering that might not have been the best of arguments to bring up. Swallowing, she added, âPlease?â
He hesitated for what felt like the longest of times, closing his bedroom door against the door and resting his back against it as he looked at her with a sigh. Every inch of of his being suggested he should stick to his plan of sleeping on the couch and remaining mad at her like he wanted to, like he needed too but he couldnât.Â
Finally, he heaved a sigh and pushed himself off the door and climbed onto the bed beside her, flopping down as if it wasnât bothering him being so close to her, especially after the night that they had had.Â
He sunk into the pillows, his eyes drifting across to the ceiling as he propped his arm under his head.Â
