So i was reading Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater and the first moment Sean notices Puck was only in Chapter 15 and the line states "There's a girl on the beach." Which shows how invested he really was in the sea horses and the races. She did probably draw a lot of attention since she was riding a pony in the middle all all those big scary sea horses.
