Hey everyone, I’m sorry I’ve been so. dead to the world lately. I’ve been dealing with some things, from work to my emotional issues, and I haven’t had the motivation to write because I’ve been so drained. I think about writing every day and I’m trying to get back into it. I’m so sorry it’s been a while since I posted anything.
I’ve hit such a roadblock..... I’m sorry guys, I think it’s gonna be a minute before I finish those two prompts and the next chapter of the metal au.... :’(
does anyone have any advice on how to feel better about your writing? I always feel like nothing I can make is original anymore, and I’m constantly worried someone will compare my work / au to someone else’s..... or, god forbid, claim I copied someone...
Sometimes I get motivated to crank out chapters (like my metal au) but as soon as I sit back and reread it to make sure it’s the quality I enjoy, I start to have doubts and it’s a very frequently occurring problem for me. Like I can never be content with anything I make. I dunno man. It gets rough sometimes.
little update to say that I am still working on the other prompts I got (I have one posted, and two more to go!!), and that I am still taking them if anyone is interested in sending me some (in ask form only pls)! Preferably Sheith, but can be anything as long as I like the ship as well! (you can always ask if you’re unsure!)

god.. i feel like a huge problem with fandom is that everyone panics way too prematurely. everyone was freaking out about ke/xca just upon seeing the first scene with them together in s7. people were worried about shiro not being a paladin anymore when in this last season, he 1) became captain and 2) listened to the altean magic and formed his own fckn voltron. people are blaming the creators for teasing ad*shi when they did no such thing (as in, they explicitly said they were broken up + exes). GUYS. i understand feeling worried about things that come up in each new content that gets released, but there’s still one more season left. it has already been written and regardless of whether they can make last minute changes or not, all of this is completely out of our control. especially now that we’re so close to the finish line, can we save our energy and hold out until the series is actually finished before we break out into angry outbursts that may or may not be disproved in the next episode or the next season? maybe shiro will end up in a relationship with a dude in s8, who knows? until then, we can only wait and see.
and even if he doesn’t… while i will also be a bit disappointed, there’s literally never a good reason to go send hate to the creators/va’s who have been vying for lgbt rep against higher-up execs and who have been as realistic and honest as they can about the nature of that position the entire time.

Just finished writing your prompt! I’m sorry I took some creative liberties because I wasn’t really sure what you had in mind for the premise, aside from them meeting. I also wasn’t sure what “shifter” meant (werecat and werewolf?) so I ended up just making them people with animal ears and tails… I hope that’s okay! I’m sorry if you had a different idea in mind for the cat and wolf thing :(
