About this blog

This blog is just a space for me to yap about my favorite interests, and while it currently is Wings of Fire based, I often switch between many fandoms, as well as work on my own characters, which will be posted here as well! I am open to discussions and questions, but please remain within proper internet etiquette. I will post what I like, and if you don't like it, then you are free to block me.

About Requests and Discussions

I don't mind people sending in requests asking me to draw their characters or character interactions, feel free to do so! I work at my own pace, and might pick between them if I spot a favorite, but I'll get to some of them. It'll take me at least a couple days to get to it, but in some cases, much longer if I'm in a slump or particularly busy. As for discussions, I am all for discussions! As long as you're civil while discussing, please feel free to message me or comment or repost to disagree/add on to me! I love reading other people's thoughts, and would love to have conversations with others in the community.

Entry No. 8 I have started tutoring the young SeaWing princess. According to her mother, her old animus teacher had pushed her to do too much violence, and she was afraid that Anemone was too young for that sort of thing. I agree, she is barely two, she should not have the responsibility of war on her shoulders. I feel sympathy for the dragonets, who do not get that luxury. I try to keep up with them, even though my visions do guide me. Last I checked they were in the rainforest. Creepy place. Back to my current state, I became the new tutor for the young heir in exchange for lessons in Aquatic, though the queen was puzzled on what I would use it for, since I didn't have light up scales like they did. It is just pure intrigue. I have been teaching Princess Anemone a bit of minute control through incantation, as well as having enchanted her harness to prevent her from casting spells without speaking. It would be dangerous for someone of her age to mindlessly be thinking spells.

if you want a rainwing to draw, my oc bird is my most prized precious silly in the world. she doesn’t sleep very well and her scales are often stuck, so she worries dragons think she is a “sometimes rainwing”, my poor girl :( here is her ref!! :) tysm if you do draw her!

I was thinking about my headcanons again hehe.

In my mind, I like to think that SandWings can't handle cold very well, living in the desert with the hot sun bearing down on them, and at night they burrow in sand tunnels or little huts, wrapped with little shawls and blankets during the cold desert nights.

+ my headcanon for IceWings too, where they shed their horns seasonally, and grow out a "winter coat".

hence, Qibli snuggling up at night in the winter, when it is super duper duper cold.

These are my most beloved OCs as dragons, Cassius and Corvus. In this dragon AU, they would probably be named something like Cinnabar and still Corvus, heh.

They are twin SkyWings, born in the same egg, yet neither of them has more or less fire, leading to a rare occurrence where twin SkyWings are allowed to live normally. When they were younger, they were smaller than average, but as they grew older, they caught up and became larger than their peers.

Cinnabar works in the palace, designing and welding new treasures carefully with his fire breath, and has a unique fascination with pearls, which, with Queen Ruby's permission, he trades for gems from the Sky Kingdom with the SeaWings to acquire.

Corvus was the Lieutenant for the Heir Wars and is struggling to adjust to his new, more peaceful surroundings, often disappearing when there are many dragons in one place. He often has nightmares of the war, and eventually decided to leave the Sky Kingdom, since it was heavily associated with violence.

DEAR FRIEND, ARE YOU STILL LOOKING FOR DRAGONS TO DRAW?

Hahaa, I am, but it will definitely be a long time before I get to any requests. I'm currently quite busy with finals, and my summer is packed, unfortunately, so I can only pick and choose or work at my own pace, which can sometimes take up to a couple of months.

I'm also trying to get back my speed of drawing dragons back when I first revisited WoF, but it's becoming more of an interest long-term, so I wanna space it out so I don't get burnt out!

If you send something in, I will note you down and get back to it, I just don't know when.
